The biggest idea I think is a person should be always ready to change the very place of happening. In this case it was India in the beginning they changed it in less than 3 weeks time to SA. All other things are there as usual.

Once the idea of T20 was successful, the fuel that it needed was innovation. Modi did just that with a blend and mix of the best talent from around the cricketing world and created aspirational titles like the Deccan Chargers, Delhi Dare Devils,...

As it turned out finally the last toppers came down and last years bottom two teams were put in the final of IPL this year. But what is more remarkable in this years game or ICL\IPL as a whole are following things: 1. Emergenece of Brand India 2. Emergence of a business within cricket, thus generating more scope for busines 3. At game level, Better opportunity for Indian players to showcase themselves, which was earlier limited to only 11 players 4. Cricket as a commodity rather than a Brand, this has led to lesser emotional value attached to cricket, hence now onwards cricket matches wont take as much time from normal public as it used to take. 5. Emergence of Cricket as a competetor to fo...

When a direct end user is handed a product for a 'FREE' use, the effects of the usage can swing both ways. It influences the user to swing 'in favor' because they are the 'first' priveleged users and hence the bias to the product is purchased....

A product can be tested directly by choosing your consumer, allowing him/her to use it thoroughly. Gather feedback and compute the results and then wait for WOMMA! its time consuming but very effective!

Source: SpicyIP Tidbits: The 'IP' in the IPL! Author: Kruttika Vijay Along with everyone else cashing in on the success of the IPL, IPR firms do not seem far behind. With the objective “to protect IP, make a profit and increase brand valuation”, teams like the Deccan Chargers have opted to create an IP portfolio, including trademarks for team logos, copyright over player uniforms and website layouts. The Mint reports that the exponential popularity of the IPL has led team owners to recognise the inherent brand value attached and proactively protect the same. Aside from The Deccan Chargers, the Kolkata Knight Riders seem to have also applied to the Controller General of Patents, Designs and...

Very nicely put! The 'pun' intended is not lost Sir! Yes I agree with your last statement! It has become a brand of exponential value! Its a game too so the things attached to invite a viewer and keep him interested in it are virtually too many!...

Content marketing is undoubtedly one of the hot digital marketing terms of 2012, but there’s far more to identifying—and implementing—a successful content strategy than simply creating content. In fact, when considering the components of creating a content marketing strategy, writing is the easy part of the equation. In today’s increasingly crowded content marketplace, your brand needs to know how to not only create and implement a content strategy that will help you achieve your pre-determined goals, but also how to develop content that will also help you stand out in the stream. During a recent Marketing Cloud webinar, The Altimeter Group’s Charlene Li and Rebecca Lieb discussed “ Winning Content Marketing Strategies: Rebalance Your Organization to Deliver Effective Content .” At the centerpiece of the webinar was a recent study conducted by Rebecca with Zack Kirchner and Jaimy Szymanski. “ Content: The New Marketing Equation ” features input from 56 ecosystem...

Who is Sonia Gandhi: There is officially no Sonia Gandhi. Her real name in passport is neither Gandhi nor Sonia. Its Edvige Antonia Albina Maino. Sonia is a Russian name and not Italian. However, Antonia is an Italian name and her passport is Italian. Though she has married Rajiv Gandhi* she never accepted change of title officially. ( recall the time of turmoil in Indian politics when Sonia Gandhi was trying to be the prime minister, but ultimately Manmohan Singh became her toy) *Rajiv Gandhi: Actually Rajiv Khan being the son of Firoz Khan and Indira Priyadarshani. Gandhi is an assumed title to sentimentally lure indians for their political benefit. They are muslims by religion. Father: Stefano Eugene Maino is socially the father of Sonia. Her father was a German(Hitlers army). When Hitlers army went to Russia they were captured and imprisoned. He was captured near St. Petersburg and was imprisoned for 20 years. But he became a member of KGB and his imprisonment was limited to 4...
