1 Keep clear and complete documentation
2 Double check important information
Dayanand Deshpande  |  Added idea  "Keep clear and complete documentation"  |  2 years ago
In my opinion clear documentation is important to safeguard from medical negligence. Many times documentation is a key element to negligence suits. Keeping clear and complete documentation may help to save a doctor when in court.
Bindu Narayan  |  Added idea  "Double check important information"  |  2 years ago
This is especially true when the patients condition is unclear. Checking and re-checking things like vital signs and keeping them documented will help the doctor treat the patient better.

The anticipated onset of a second wave of the H1N1 influenza pandemic could present difficult medical ethics issues best considered in advance. The ethical issues include the duty of health care workers to work during a serious flu pandemic; government restrictions on individual freedoms and privacy and their responsibilities administering vaccination programs; how to allocate limited medical resources; and the obligation of rich countries to share with the less fortunate.

If a person has diabetes, healthful lifestyle choices in diet, exercise, and other health habits will help to improve glycemic (blood sugar) control and prevent or minimize complications of diabetes. Education regarding causes prevention while maintaining target blood glucose levels is of utmost importance. Diabetes Diet:  A healthy diet is key to controlling blood sugar levels and preventing diabetes complications. Eat a consistent, well-balanced diet that is high in fibber, low in saturated fat, and low in concentrated sweets. Integrity of any political party and its worthiness is judged from the way they conduct themselves in the Parliament and make themselves worthy to the people who elected them.   Democracy is strangled when elected representatives, ignore the needs and aspirations of the people whom they represent. Democracy is strangled, when the political parties stoop down to use the communal feeling of one group against other to come to power and compelled to oppress other communities to appease its supporters. Democracy is strangled, when ‘Playing dirty Politics’ become the main business and theme of the Government and Political parties that support and oppose the government. "The Bitter Pills for India Reprieve" I wrote this in this community in  toosteps.com few years back. The article is available in the following link in www.wordpress.com   http://wp.me/p1ZsI2-5I
