Job Satisfaction is important as it gives u feel of self satisfaction to what u do.. But on the money front there should not be any compromise on what u deserve according to ur experience, skills, etc..

Keep squeezing him!! He is doing an excellent job!!   Jack is an extremely efficient worker. Picked up from the day 1 and from the work go. Innovation comes naturally and so does dedication to his job. Intellectually way above average in comparison to his peers.   What more could a boss ask for? A single employee who can handle the work of two is a rare find. The boss quotes “He handles the most complex assignment in the unit and does it with ease. He is the best person for the job.”   Jack diligently does the work that he is expected to and always over delivers.   Time passes by as the task is complex and the boss feels that Jack is doing an excellent job at it, he goes with the flow.   Ja...

Potray yourself in the best possible way. 4. Mention your professional skills on your profile. 5. Sony is yet again ready to layoff 10,000 employees. It is not clear if this will be from Japan or overseas. This makes us think that how unpredictable can working in big brands be. We normally think that we should go for a big brand instead of working for a small company but when incidents like this happen they tear away our dreams, make us rethink and take away our sleep. If a company is going to lay off so many people where would they go, what would they do and how will they move forward. We have no answer to these questions. According to Nikkei‘s sources, Sony might also request that its seven executive directors — including Stringer — return their yearly bonuses. Sony hasn’t officially confirmed the report, but Hirai is set to brief the company’s business plan on Thursday, March 12.

Hi All, Came across a nice artical, thought beneficial for all HR professionals : What else does it take to K.E.E.P your employees satisfied? "People work for much more than a paycheck." Most employees are looking for common elements from the people they work for . People, regardless of position, seek a good " Relationship with their manager ", " A positive work environment ", and " Praise and recognition ". Successfully combine these three elements and implement them effectively and you have created the foundation for a great retention strategy. It is obvious that these crucial elements have little or nothing to do with compensation. Instead they remind us an important fact: People work for much more than a paycheck. People not only want their jobs to be a source of income but a source of attaining pride, professional development, enjoyment, and acknowledgment of their skills and efforts as well. With this in mind, I would like to introduce to you a retention-boosting method,...

Recovery of its due has been a hectic exercise for the Banks in the absence of a special legislation. ‘Non-performing Assets’ were growing and a need was felt to reduce the ‘Non-performing Assets’ of the Banks drastically. As the recovery through Courts was a difficult exercise for the Banks, initially, a special legislation called ‘The Recovery of Debts due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 1993’ was enacted creating a Special Tribunal called ‘Debt Recovery Tribunal’. Under the Act, the Banks are entitled to approach the Tribunal by filing an ‘Original Application’ which is similar to filing a suit in Civil Court proceedings. However, unlike the ‘Civil Court’ which is supposed to follow the ‘Civil Procedure Code’, a special and simple procedure has been prescribed under ‘The Recovery of Debts due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 1993’. At the end of adjudication, the Tribunal is supposed to grant a certificate called ‘Recovery Certificate’ infavour of the Bank...
