NASA has delayed its first space shuttle launch of the year for a fourth time after failing to resolve concerns about a potential problem with fuel pressurization valves. Shuttle Discovery had been scheduled to lift off on Feb. 27 for a 14-day flight to outfit the International Space Station with a final set of solar wing panels. The flight, already delayed three times for safety reviews, was not immediately rescheduled. The issue that has delayed the mission involves three small valves in the shuttle's rear engine compartment that are needed to keep the external fuel tank properly pressurized during the 8-1/2-minute climb into orbit. During the last shuttle mission in November a tiny piece...

When space shuttle Discovery blasts into space next week, there will be an unusual passenger onboard. A 300-pound humanoid robot named Robonaut 2, or R2, will hitch a ride along with the six astronauts who are making their way to the International Space Station. With its gold helmet and shiny metallic visor, R2 looks a little like a toned-down Metroid from the popular Nintendo video game, but it’s solely made up of a torso, two arms and two five-fingered hands. The idea is that R2 will be an astronaut’s assistant, helping out with routine tasks such as holding tools and vacuuming air filters. Initially, R2 will be deployed on a fixed pedestal inside the space station, NASA said. Next steps ...

Nice that a Robot is accommodated in the shuttle. It is always that of a Robot for routine works that avoids many an ergonomics problem when traveling in the shuttle. Astronauts will feel a bit at ease.

The subject should be rather in form of a statement. A bold statement . Yes!! Yes!! When you get into the office you find people from all age group. The average age of working population is around 36 which makes it clear that people between age group 18 to 60 all are working. There are call centers where youth is seen even the school students to retired professionals earn there pocket money here. Then there is a quite serious about the career age group, 23-30, they work hard to get promotions ,to survive and to get other incentives because they are at the peak of their potentials. Now comes the bosses who might have or might have not crossed the wrong side of 30. they are the boss and they know what they want. In society where various age groups are working there can be clash of ideas between gen X, gen Y and upcoming gen Z. Multi-generations at work can be productive and at times it may lead to mind war. The X generation might believe in there old principles while Y generation may...
