Yes, it is the right option for current generation & generations to come.
Sankaran Venkatasubramanian  |  Argues in support of  "Parents have rights and experience"  |  1 year ago
They have all rights and experience to guide their children. Only when the child is not clear of the education and career, parents interfere and decide. Else they leave it to their choice. Many cases parents decision doesn't go wrong.

For i while i thought which side should i write as my views are slightly away from the topics. firstly, 'should suggest' and 'have rights' is wrongly used. In this, background plays a big role, if parents are educated they need to identify the...

Its easier said den done..I guess their is a need for parental guidance as the youth could really ruin their careers if given a choice..so a combo of both wit a lil compromises could do the trick..

Moreover, the long waiting lists and unavailability of adopting in their own country can be the reason of international adoption. For instance, the Indian government intends to increase the number of children available to overseas families and...

Dear Taha, with all due respect I would like to express that this debate is worthless, in our own country, we find thousands of children plaguing with poverty, malnourishment. Kids can be seen begging on street. So, when our own children are in...

I found this while I was checking a friends blog and accidently bumped in to this..   Molestation is an ugly word. But still everyone needs to know what it is. Touching and exploiting someone sexually is molestation. A child should always be explained what is the difference between good and bad touch. Along with this if a child complains about a bad touch it should be taken seriously and a steps should be taken against this. Today I am saying this because I was a victim. A victim of child abuse, a victim of adolescent molestation and it continues. But I can proudly say that I had all the strength to fight this as an adolescent.  When I was a child I went to see a doctor , a skin specialist for something which had happened on my face. I realised that the behaviour of the doctor was weird and I was at first scared. Then I told my parents and they made me feel it was ok and they just did not complain about this anywhere. The only solution they came to was : not to take me to that...

An old man, staying in a small south Indian town came to visit his son in Bombay recently. The son in his early thirties is a successful businessman living with his wife and son. The father, having spent most of his life at his birthplace, hardly understands a splatter of Hindi or English, forget Marathi. But he doesn't care. 'I have come here to spend a few days with my son and his family. I don't have to go out and socialize with the city people,' he said. But the son is very excited about his father's rare visit to Bombay. He wants to make the best of it. He and his wife want to show him around the city. And yes, the son enjoys those evening hours too, when  he and his father go out and sit in a good bar, sipping their favorite  drink. Last week he was in a very good mood. 'Let's go to a five star hotel's bar tonight,' he told his father. It was a beautiful evening. Talking about everything under the sun they had a few drinks. As usual they were offered some salad, peanuts,...

Hai Shrikant Manohar, You made my day today. When I opened my mail box on which notifications from Toostep are coming I was delighted to see your mail inviting me back to Toostep. I am happy that you remembered me. Thanks. I agree…it is a long time that I came to toostep. So many reasons, but one reason is that the some where in between the life of too step had lost I feel some meaningless debate, fighting between members etc. May be I am wrong. If so sorry. I know I was missing not only Toostep, but so many of my good friends too. Rathin Deb, Mohammed Baksh, Natteraja, Dr. Ali, Nitin, Ajay ziz, Naushad, You and so many others too. My regards to all. So back with an article. A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and a four-year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together nightly at the dinner table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating rather difficult....

Beautiful Thought by Lord Buddha     Once Buddha was traveling with a few of his followers. While they were passing a lake, Buddha told one of his disciples, "I am thirsty. Do get me some water from the lake." The disciple walked up to the lake. At that moment, a bullock cart started crossing through the lake. As a result, the water became very muddy and turbid. The disciple thought, "How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink?" So he came back and told Buddha, "The water in there is very muddy. I don't think it is fit to drink." After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back to the lake. The disciple went back, and found that the water was still muddy. He returned and informed Buddha about the same. After sometime, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back. This time, the disciple found the mud had settled down, and the water was clean and clear. So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha. Buddha looked at the water, and...
