Phased Process decouples sequential operations and provides a flexible dispatch mechanism. In situations where a set of operations must proceed in an orderly fashion, you have at your disposal several tried-and-true solutions. The inexperienced programmer might code each operation so that it calls the next operation, similar to a one-way linked list.
