This is a 'short' summarize of the work of GERPISSA (R D permanent study group of car's industries and workers) studies I was studying a couple of years ago. I will write it in a couple of times, because it is quite long. I red some posts in this site I disagree, so this my answer to some incredible stuff I can not leave alone.^^ A False History There is a common picture for the 20th century industrial history which got stronger in the 90s. To be short: ''Industrial production grew up in three steps''. An almost handcraft step , with numerous products made by specialized workers, working in self organized jobs groups. They were providing a high social class, who was the only one who can aff...

After the short presentation of the growth forms, here is a summarized table. If I am not clear enough, do not hesitate to say so. Competitive and in competition The national income depends on local and category forces , and financial opportunities. The growth source is changing according the the intern and external competition. The market is unstable, divided in groups, with some excluded categories. The work is flexible, organized by category. This leads to : a real fall of prices, but with limitation on the market, because of the uncertainty of the incomes. Contradictions : you must defend your advantages every times, there are speculation troubles. Competitive and consumption The nation...

Yes Ray I agree with you that MODAPTS is eay to learn. The average supervisor can easily learn MODAPTS and how to calculate standards and the average employee can understand MODAPTS and apply in the organization.
Mohit Aggarwal  |  Supported idea  "Overall equipment effectiveness(OEE)"  |  3 years ago
Hey Sanjit! I do find OEE a good way to measure quality of process, efficiency of equipment and utilization in one figure which sums up everything you want to achieve in running highly automated equipment.

I would like to thanks all the people who were concerned about my disappearing. Believe it or not, i was hit by a car...I am getting better now. The quality strategy may look like old, but each time the gap between rich and poor is growing, a rebirth can occur. With time, these luxury products became more affordable for more people, sometimes because of a mix with another profit strategy. The diversity and flexibility strategy This is generally what we called the handcraft strategy. That was the strategy chosen by the firsts american manufacturers and the english producer before they got together to form British Leyland. This strategy is working for either the whole product or just a partic...

Every month, Google makes tons of tiny changes to the way search works. It shares them in company blog posts that present a list of carefully scripted bullet points with mysterious code names in an inscrutable order. Google never comments on the changes beyond these announcements, but it's always informative to spread the puzzle pieces out on the table and see what Google is up to. Here's what changed in April. We thought there were a lot of changes in March, but April was even bigger. Google changed 52 things about its search algorithm last month. As usual, you don't need to worry about a bunch of them. But the most interesting of the latest search changes fall into three important categories. Smarter The more Google can guess (correctly) what we're looking for, the faster we can find it. Google is getting better at untangling our spelling mistakes, interpreting our meaning and answering our questions. One update helps Google interpret your intention by looking at your last few...

Know Where a Wine Really Comes From by Jim Gordon The mantra of real estate buyers everywhere -- "location, location, location" -- is almost as important for wine buyers. While certain foods and beverages carry a general notation of their origin, like Idaho potatoes and Sumatra coffee, wine can narrow the notion down to the precise plot of land where the grapes grew. Governments in virtually all winemaking countries have made it illegal to cheat consumers by putting misleading information about a wine's origin on a label. They needed to, because a minority of dishonest winemakers is constantly tempted to make more money by tricking the consumer. They make a wine from inexpensive grapes grown in a low-quality growing region, then pass it off as something pedigreed and expensive. Most wine producers are honest, of course, but it's still important to know what you're buying. Look carefully at the wine label to learn at least the minimum. The front label of most U.S. wines usually...
