Oxygen Deficiency: The Silent Killer Injury or death due to oxygen deficiency is a common hazard in the petrochemical, refining and other industries, and confined spaces, if not properly monitored, can create hazards for workers and rescuers. Toxic gas often is to blame when workers unnecessarily die due to asphyxiation inenvironments where the oxygen actually is depleted by gases such as nitrogen. Inparticularly tragic cases, other workers or first responders have died trying to rescue workers trapped in oxygen-depleted environments. To prevent these incidents, OSHA, the National Institute forOccupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and other federal/state agencies have implemented numerous ...

I think you need some luck for every thing in your luck. It is a question of belief somebody may not belive but unless lady luck doesnot smile one may not perform as per the expectation of himself/herself.

I complitely agree with you sir, Its a mind frame, Good luck chams only help one to create a possibility mind frame. ultimately its one's effort that pay returns to his work and not his Good luck charm or any thing.

I believe a belief in superstition might help people do better by improving their confidence. Even Psychological Science says so.

Abraham Lincoln once said that if he were given eight hours to chop down a tree, he would spend six hours sharpening his ax and two hours chopping down the tree. That is one of the true characteristics of a leader. We all should take time to sharpen our axes - by reading!  Believe it or not, the average American reads just one book a year. What that means to you and me is that if we only read one book a month in our field, we will be twelve years ahead of the average person!   The late Earl Nightingale, in his book, The Strangest Secret , said that if we read for two hours every day on any subject, in five years, we would become national experts on that particular subject. And in ten years, we would have the equivalent of a Ph.D!   Reading quality books is the ultimate joy in life. It rekindles hope and takes a person to new heights. It rejuvenates and gives a boost to any person.   We can no longer make excuses about not having time to read. Today we can even buy most books on...

A Sufi Story Once upon a time, a fox that lost its legs lived in a forest. A forester who used to hunt saw the animal and wondered how it got its food. One day, he noticed a tiger approaching. The beast was dragging a fresh kill behind. It lay down on its favorite spot – incidentally, near the fox hole – and gorged on the meat. After its belly was full, it got up and rambled away. The fox ate the rest. This happened repeatedly. The man thought: “This is indeed mysterious. It must be the god that instructs the tiger to bring the fox, food. I’m a staunch believer in god and if I sit in a corner without hunting, I’m sure I will also receive divine kindness”. Days passed and he starved and became skin and bones. As he was dying, he heard a voice: “See the Truth! Why didn’t you follow the example of that tiger instead of imitating the fox” (And Rumi said “You have feet; why pretend that you’re a lame?)   Source: Indian Express dated 18 th Sept 2011

HI The most stressful part of job interview is to get stuck in those questions which are generic in nature but nevertheless difficult to answer. Here is a few answers to those questions, that should help you. 01 Tell us about yourself? For a long time, I would go around talking about my place of birth, education and work experience etc etc. Then I  realised how silly it sounds. Interviewers want to know the candidates skillsets, strengths and achievements in the past and how these are related to the requirement of job. For example: “I am really passionate about my work. Whatever I do I do it with full of my dedication, determination and devotion. I am working in insurance sales for last two years and that has given me a lot confidence and taught me the importance of time management and goal setting. I have been consistently achieving my targets for the last 3 quarters. I also have organized and been part of various road shows and counseling activity for lead generation”. To read...
