1 Design the house as house of need
2 Provide real documentation
Joe Antony  |  Added idea  "Transperancy in pricing and house plan"  |  1 year ago
1.Follow transparency in dealing with the customer directly specially when it comes to pricing and floor area.(Make it clear to customer about the usable carpet area) 2.Provide a simulated 3-D design of the house as a movie format for the...

I support your idea, Pragya. If everything is written on a paper then it will be easy for both to close the deal in satisfaction.

I really am quite ambivalent on this subject. By and large, many projects I have seen manage to give acceptable services. Without going into strong words like "Cheating" Misleading" "Crooked" etc... I think that  the buyers/clients usually feel...

I am not agree with you Ms. Swapna. It always depends on the Builders. If you consider the local contractors, some how i agree with your point. But they are only spoiling the construction industry.
Dipak Bhattacharya  |  Argues in support of  "No"  |  1 year ago
Dear Krishnamaraju, I fully believe in your statements. This is the true business scenario in any trade in India; may be some exception you may find in IT BPO companies managed and run by stalwarts like Narainmurthys. If you are an honest Engineer...

What Biswajit says is 100% correct;that is the scenario in a real life situation. So long papers are in order-- job is safe, Govt .engineers care a straw for quality.Every now and then roads are carpeted, plasters falls off DDA SFS flats within 10...
SUMIT TRIPATHI  |  Argues in support of  "no"  |  1 year ago
agreed....quality plays significant role in construction and the company like L T DLF they are example of that...where Quality and Safety First then Quantity....but in govt sector and even in some private sectors they compromise with quality to...
Biswajit Sarma  |  Argues in support of  "yes"  |  1 year ago
The construction world is not only L T and DLF. The major share of construction activities are coming from small contractors executing government contracts of values ranging in an average of 1 to 5 crores. These contractors usually get their jobs...

Request all the participants, putting an arguments on Quality was compromised, to mention specific point, where quality was compromised. Rather than being opinion or judgment based. Unfortunately, we are the people, for whom grass is always...

I am not sure whether this is really happened or not, But I liked it and want to share with all my friend here. Please read once ............ One day Maths teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down. It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers. That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual. On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. 'Really?' she heard whispered. 'I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!' and, 'I didn't know others liked me so much,' were most of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She...

By Elaine Watson, It is “unfortunate” and “disappointing” that a new manufacturer-driven food safety standard has been launched to compete directly with retailerled third-party certification programmes, according to the British Retail Consortium (BRC), reports sister title Food Manufacture. On the new Food Safety System Certification scheme, FSSC 22000 – which is based on the ISO 22000 standard for food quality and backed by Nestlé, Unilever, Kraft and Danone – BRC director of Global Standards Dr Geoff Spriegel said: “ For some big branded food manufacturers, the BRC global standard is still regarded as something that was set up by UK retailers for their own-label suppliers. The big brands were always more behind ISO standards. “But the BRC standard has since grown into something that is recognised all over the globe, so it is disappointing that the big manufacturers didn’t all support it, as it’s already there and up and running. I’m not sure why they deemed it necessary to...

Hai Shrikant Manohar, You made my day today. When I opened my mail box on which notifications from Toostep are coming I was delighted to see your mail inviting me back to Toostep. I am happy that you remembered me. Thanks. I agree…it is a long time that I came to toostep. So many reasons, but one reason is that the some where in between the life of too step had lost I feel some meaningless debate, fighting between members etc. May be I am wrong. If so sorry. I know I was missing not only Toostep, but so many of my good friends too. Rathin Deb, Mohammed Baksh, Natteraja, Dr. Ali, Nitin, Ajay ziz, Naushad, You and so many others too. My regards to all. So back with an article. A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and a four-year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together nightly at the dinner table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating rather difficult....
