About "Rape - India's Fastest Growing Crime...." topic:
India is well on its way to being the rape capital of the world. With most offenders taking solace in the idea that they can get away with it, there seems no solution in sight to the problem at the moment.

Earlier this week where a news about 12-year-old Mumbai girl being serially raped by her cousin and eight neighbours for over a year mocked all the media chatter that has assaulted us on the gender injustices which the women’s bill hopes to rectify. This is becoming the fastest growing crime in India.

Absolutely. 1. Rape , on its own , is a heinous crime , which should be punished with , at the least , life imprisonment. 2. Rape , followed by murder of the victim , or as has happened in the latest case , blinding , should be punished with...

Whatever you want from government is already there in place and also a few more bills and acts to go with it. However its the people who needs to change and women should learn to save themselves instead of begging for help each time.

A young woman was picked up in a car outside a night club and raped at gunpoint by five men as they drove around the Maidan after midnight on February 5. They shoved a pistol into her mouth and punched and kicked her, saying 'Chillaogi to thok denge (We will shoot you if you scream).' She was dumped at Exide crossing about 90 minutes later, torn, bloodied and battered. If this sends a chill down your spine, here's worse - the police ignored her complaints when she mustered courage to report the incident two days later and even mocked her for going to a night club. Two officers allegedly passed sleazy remarks at her at Park Street police station, when she was summoned for a forensic examinat...

A MUST READ. HOW AN 81-YEAR-OLD GRANNIE IN AUSTRALIA AVENGED MASS RAPE OF HER GRAND DAUGHTER. Gun-toting granny Ava Estelle, 81, was so ticked-off when two thugs raped her 18-year-old granddaughter that she tracked the unsuspecting ex-cons down and shot off their testicles. The old lady spent a week hunting those men down and, when she found them, she took revenge on them in her own special way, said Melbourne police investigator Evan Delp. Then she took a taxi to the nearest police station , laid the gun on the sergeant's desk and told him as calm as could be: 'Those bastards will never rape anybody again, by God.' Cops say convicted rapist and robber Davis Furth, 33, lost both his pen...

I found this while I was checking a friends blog and accidently bumped in to this.. Molestation is an ugly word. But still everyone needs to know what it is. Touching and exploiting someone sexually is molestation. A child should always be explained what is the difference between good and bad touch. Along with this if a child complains about a bad touch it should be taken seriously and a steps should be taken against this. Today I am saying this because I was a victim. A victim of child abuse, a victim of adolescent molestation and it continues. But I can proudly say that I had all the strength to fight this as an adolescent. When I was a child I went to see a doctor , a skin specialist for something which had happened on my face. I realised that the behaviour of the doctor was weird and I was at first scared. Then I told my parents and they made me feel it was ok and they just did not complain about this anywhere. The only solution they came to was : not to take me to that...
