While Global Warming might be real it might not be necessarily `man made`.Searching with the keywords `global warming hoax` on Google or Youtube gives a different and fuller picture it seems.

Already some of the IT Parks, Commercial mall received the CER approval 2-3 years back. Till today none of the SEZ have not apply for CDM but they plan in the correct manner with the business unsual, definately they will get it.
Dayanand Deshpande  |  Added idea  "Agricultural sector"  |  3 years ago
I think agriculture sector will be the best to implement CDM. And even as agriculture is a big sector in India, we can easily reduce the carbon emission effectively if CDM is effectively implemented. Energy efficiency improvements or switching to...

The swift response to a similar announcement by the Chinese, is meant to save the country from being seen as the deal breaker in the coming green gabfest at Copenhagen over climate change. The battle for scoring PR points at the climate change talks has been joined in right earnest. On Friday, India dramtically announced that it could consider voluntarily reducing its carbon intensity by 20-25% on a purely domestic level. This represents a big leap on the measures announced so far by the government to cut emissions, and will extend to the entire economy rather than be restricted to specific sectors as is the case now. Environment minister Jairam Ramesh, in Beijing for a meeting of key emerg...

A step taken in the right direction, but still a mile to go if we don't want to blow our planet. Now the onus is on the developed world.
Kunal Das  |  Commented  |  3 years ago
I don't understand why this type of vital decision takes so much time to be approved. I hope our goverment will not take another few years to implement it.

The D.light Rural Lighting Project involves the introduction of solar lighting systems to rural Indian households. The solar lighting systems consist of one LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamp with a rechargeable battery and one photo voltaic module. LED lamps use a light emitting diode which is a semiconductor diode that emits light when an electrical current is applied. LEDs are ideal for rural lighting purposes due to their efficiency, long life time, ruggedness and low maintenance costs associated.1 Photovoltaic (PV) modules consist of solar cells which can convert sunlight directly into electricity. PV modules are very useful to power electric devices like the lamps for this Project in r...

The Copenhagen summit is the world's last chance to save the planet from 'catastrophic' global warming, according to a major study led by Lord Stern of Brentford, the country's leading authority on climate change. Without an international agreement to limit global warming, temperatures are likely to rise by 9F (5C) by the end of the century - triggering mass migration, warfare and world hunger, according to the report. But Lord Stern, who produced the report together with the London School of Economics and other leading academics, said it was still possible for the world to keep the temperature rise below 3.6F (2C) - but only if world leaders agree to cut global emissions at next week's UN ...

Military Strength: Comapre India and Pakistan Manpower and Ground Forces India has the second largest manpower in its military globally - at 3,773,300 personell (2005), next only to China. Pakistan has a much smaller manpower of 1,449,000 personell which is proportionally higher than India in terms of their population ratios. Pakistan’s ground forces are equipped with American or Chinese weapons like FIM 92 Stinger SAMs, BGM-71 TOW anti-tank missiles, T-82 tanks and other equipments. Indian ground forces are equipped mostly by home-made or Soviet technologies like IR guided 9K35 Strela-10 SAMs, 3rd Gen IR guided Nag anti-tank missiles, UAVs and a large inventory of tanks and support vehicles. In terms of numbers and equipments, both Indian and Pakistani ground forces are on an closely equal footing. I support the fight against corruption which Anna Hazare jee has started but at the same time my mind is full of doubts.. Many doubts.. How can we stop corruption in India? When I was in school my parents used to pay 10 rupee every month to the peons to take care of me.. Though it was their duty and they should have done the dame without money but those 10 rupees created a lot of difference in their behavior. Corruption has strong roots. Corruption has to uprooted and the tumors which it has formed like the cancer tumors have to be removed. Even a single cell has the power to recreate it. We are humans and do not have control on the basics feelings like greed. If you are given even 500 rupees to do one work you will happily take it and start dreaming about how to spend it. While when your earn the same you prefer saving it. When this saving and spending ratio has to be balanced you prefer to be irrational. The cleaning of individual from within is necessary and that can be done...

Facts about "Jana Gana Mana" - Just a thought for the National Anthem! How well do you know about it?     I have always wondered who is the "adhinayak" and "bharat bhagya vidhata",    whose praise we are singing. I thought might be Motherland India! Our current National Anthem "Jana Gana Mana" is sung throughout the country.   Did you know the following about our national anthem, I didn't.   To begin with, India's national anthem, Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka, was written by Rabindranath Tagore in honour of King George V and the Queen of  England when they visited India in 1919.   To honour their visit Pandit Motilal  Nehru had the five stanzas included, which are in praise of the King and  Queen. (And most of us think it is in the praise of our great motherland!! !)   In the original Bengali verses only those provinces that were under British rule, i.e. Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat, Maratha etc. were mentioned. None of  the  princely states were recognised which are integral parts of India...

Hi Friends, I am sharing with the reviews of IBM on work culture, growth prospects salary, done by their employees. Please share your views. A Project Manager wrote: What I like about IBM: "IBM offers a very flexible working environment. In most cases, no one will ask you what time you come or go from office. Neither the logs of the swipe card will be analyzed to take some action against you in normal circumstances. In special circumstances, the company can even allow you to work from home. No blocking of internet or phones . All in all, you are "not" working in a jail. It has a wealth of knowledge..... " What I don't like about IBM: "Sometimes you feel that there are too many processes to follow. The company is so huge that it is a challenge to make people aware of existing processes. I have often seen it happening that sometimes small groups within IBM try to develop their own processes, often unaware that such a best practice already exists and can be leveraged. Ofcourses, Lou...
