With GDP growth rates equaling China, India is catching up economically. Unfortunately, its consumption of energy is catching up as well. But the country is finding it increasingly difficult to source all the oil, natural gas, and electricity it needs to run its booming factories, fuel its cars, and light up its homes. This topic will pay attention to the issue of energy security & how India can meet its future energy needs......

By 2030, worldwide energy demand will be more than 50% greater than it is today. This is the base case outlined by the Energy Information Assocation. Regardless of fuel type, from coal to natural gas to wind to nuclear, the world is going to need more of all the various fuels we use to provide energy. Rising energy costs, limited availability, and new awareness of energy security issues are among the reasons that we have to take into consisderation. so the question now is which is one of the best alternate fuel available, which is cheap and available in plenty? Growing conventional energy prices, along with federal and state incentives such as American Initiative, net metering regulations a...

Recent years and months have seen increasing attention being paid to the issue of energy security. There are a number of concerns and fears such as * Oil and other fossil fuel depletion (peak oil, etc) * Reliance on foreign sources of energy * Geopolitics (such as supporting dictatorships, rising terrorism, “stability” of nations that supply energy) * Energy needs of poorer countries, and demands from advancing developing countries such as China and India * Economic efficiency versus population growth debate * Environmental issues, in particular climate change * Renewables and other alternative energy sources Energy insecurity combined with other global issues ri...

Nuclear will be one of the options available. However wind and solar power can be planned for energy security. Unless the demand and exponential forecasting in the years is not planned then its not possible to be self reluctant in energy.

No, Thorium is not the final answer to India's deficiency of Power. I think Solar energy with the Molten Salts technology is the right answer. In the Thorium Reactor too, the molten salt technology is used. But I must say that why should we build...

Renewable Energy resources such as sun, wind, biomass are in plenty. Conversion of these resources to provide energy is in most of the cases affordable, provided the technology or equipment or the project is indigeneously procured.

All brands are targeting on children growth by which conveying common message i.e. it includes many types of vitamins, proteins, calcium which will make strong bones, gives energy growth. IN RECENT times, Maharashtra has been experiencing a severe power crisis. For many decades, it had a reputation for reliable supply and recorded good progress both in industry and agriculture. But because of little or no addition to generation capacity for almost a decade, many parts of Maharashtra are now subject to power cuts for six-ten hours a day. During the 1990s, there was a flurry of seminars and symposia by the Independent Power Producers Association (IPPA) to educate government functionaries about how the structure of the power supply industry should be changed to make it IPP-friendly. Notwithstanding the time and energy invested by civil servants and politicians, the growth in private sector generation over the past decade-and-a-half has been very modest and indeed dismal. The star of the private sector, Enron project, which has occupied media space extensively over the past decade, has been a real disaster for the country. Many power professionals warned the country of...
