Success with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) requires identifying and specifying the right set of services. Most existing analysis approaches are not up to the task and make it difficult to achieve the promised results of SOA.
As SOA transforms the enterprise architecture, traditional techniques for analysis must be enhanced to match the unique needs of service orientation. For instance, achieving reuse requires adding an enterprise vs. purely application focused perspective. Achieving process agility requires the use of techniques that match services to the business functions that make up enterprise processes.Additionally, as part of the move to services, analysts can play a greater role in bringing IT and business closer together.
- Issues with applying traditional analysis techniques to SOA environments
- How Service Oriented Analysis fits into the software development lifecycle
- A methodology for Service Oriented Analysis, including a step-by-step review of the process will be discussed here.

Why is using email marketing services sometimes a better option than direct mail? There are many options available to the business or charitable organization that is in need of a way to better communicate with their target audience. Two of the most popular are email marketing and direct mail. While both have their pros and cons, email is often a better option than its traditional counterpart. This article will explain why by highlighting some of the advantages it has over direct mail. Cost Effectiveness One of the best qualities email marketing has going for it is its low cost. The price you would pay to reach hundreds or even thousands of contacts is downright cheap in comparison to trying to connect with the same number of people with direct mail. More businesses are finding out that such traditional methods are cost prohibitive in today’s economy. With direct mail, you have to factor in the cost for creating your actual marketing materials, printing it all out, and mailing it to...

How to spot a fake resume Here are somethings you need to look for to ensure that you are not being hoodwinked into recruiting someone with fake credentials. The information that is most often faked are the following: 1. Skills 2. Work details/Projects 3. Salary details 4. Employment records 5. Educaton records There are reasonably easy ways to get to the truth, though they are not completely foolproof. Skills The fake resume exponent knows that companies search for candidates on job sites using keywords. They also know that to end up in the top 2 - 3 pages, they need to match as many keywords as possible. So in their resume, they add all skills that are commonly searched for by companies, whether they possess the skill or not. The way to defeat this is to ask all candidates to send in their updated profiles with the following details for each of their skills Have you just heard about it, or have you undergone training, or do you have hands-on experience? If you have undergone...
