surrounded by advertisements and news that desperately compete for our
attention. Everywhere we look, we find ourselves inevitably drawn to
images of scantily clad attractive men and women that are supposed to
somehow inspire us to purchase products they endorse. Increasingly,
brands from categories where you would not expect such expression,
are talking a language that is when not screaming then, whispering

Nice article Reji. I don't think Sexual - or for that matter any other type of ads - can really be ENCOURAGED. As they say 'necessicity is the mother of invention', it's just a phase in use of sexual content (exposure, symbolism, fantasy etc...)...
