The banking industry is moving quickly into this market, as they know that it has a very huge potential. Will mobile providers also jump into the game or retreat to the transport lane only. It will be either the banks or the telecom operators who dictate the models for proliferating smart phone technology. Already, banks are moving toward contactless payment cards with RFID chips. However, mobile providers still need to determine what role they intend to play, and how to drive merchants and content providers to their customers and networks. The average person who walks, drives or travels is encumbered with keys, cash, purse or wallet, cell phone, headset, address book, planner, credit cards, and multiple IDs. Throw into that mix receipts, coupons, maps, CDs and other objects, and its no wonder so many personal and work related belongings are lost, stolen or damaged. So what are your views on this how will Gen X and Gen Y take it, Share your views on this.

CES 2012: The top 7 phones at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show By Barb Dybwad, Tecca | Today in Tech – It's all about Windows Phone and Android at this year's event Whereas last year's Consumer Electronics Show was all about Android , the surprise mindshare leader at CES 2012 is Microsoft's Windows Phone mobile operating system. After completely reinventing the artist formerly known as Windows Mobile in late 2010, the company fleshed out and polished up the OS with the current Windows Phone 7.5 iteration. Thanks to a $1 billion partnership with Finnish giant Nokia early last year, as well as strong continued partnerships with handset makers HTC Samsung, the Windows Phone ecosystem is set to finally come into its own in 2012. Despite not dominating the show floor to the extent it did last year, Google's Android mobile operating system nevertheless managed a strong showing at CES 2012. Motorola announced a brace of powerful smartphones with the Droid Razr Maxx and the Droid 4...

Give impetus to Rural Telecom. By Abraham Paul, MD CEO Future Groups (India), FCOMNET (UAE) In spite of the few hiccups in the beginning, the privatization has pushed Telecom business in India making the services available and affordable to common man. Most of the issues in the beginning were due to inertia of the incumbent provider in changing their old mindset. The main aspect of telecom expansion being that it virtually reduces space making the distance immaterial, the initial decision of making the GSM Wireless Telecom license areas co-terminus with existing telecom circles was one of the major flaws. Over and above disallowing of direct interconnects between different networks of the Service Provider forced them to make multiple investments on one side and loss of revenue to the incumbent operator on the other side. Bringing in the concept of Pan India Telecom with Unified Licensing was a positive step to correct few of these earlier wrong doings. But the present...

I am back from HAJ 2011. I will be in regular communication with my esteemed contacts, contributors, wellwishers readers and freinds. This week ,i am sharing a latest trend on computer clouding ala remote computing option. The latest trend indicates that it will change the concept of appraisal.assessment and fore4cast ,estimating and what not. i hope readers and all will enjoy this week.s trendsIt's a good thing the rise of cloud computing is essentially unstoppable: New research shows just how much energy companies can save from a migration, even while the same research shows even wider business benefits from cloud computing. A study just published by CSC asked more than 3,600 IT decision makers across eight countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia about how and why their companies migrated to remote computing options. While the top-level findings, especially around green IT, were not surprising, the broad array of benefits businesses accrued from the cloud chart some new...
