I think you are confusing between technology and consumer products companies. If you are comparing technology companies, then comparing the likes of Sony and Samsung with the likes of Intel, Cisco and IBM is like comparing apples and oranges.

I personally don't see the need to open a Linkedin account. I have accounts at TOOSTEP, INDYAROCKS, TWITTER, FACEBOOK, HOTMAIL,YAHOO,GMAIL and my official email account. I barely have time to read my emails muchless to visit the other sites....

When we post videos on youtube some of them are a bit shaky and give the viewers a hard time. Youtube has found an answer to this and now they can fix it for us.
