Every business is different from the other, though they may be from the same industry. This is due to the fact that customers need value addition to the product and differentiation. So in a way every enterpreneur, be he/she a distributor or...

The key issue is perhaps not whether you invent or imitate; but rather what you can do well. Though inventing is supposedly tougher with higher expenditure, greater requirement of calibre to innovate, greater R D etc, an imitation when performed...

For any start-up to be successful....it has to invent either in the concept or if it is imitating the existing concept then the implementation of it has to be different. Imitation also is good but if done in a perspective to make it appear as...

Should Insurance sector not consider launching insurance scheme to cover corruption, scams etc, it could fetch much attractive premium than the some of the existing popular options, that are of health, life, wealth, house, business etc…?... Here, the insurance policy is time bound just as in normal course, but payable in parts such as once the charges of the corruption come in open and booked for an inquiry, inquiry starts, legal process begins, the corruption charges established or disproved and culprit is penalized or relieved of charges, depending upon the damages inflicted upon the accused. Rational here, is that in case of disclosure of corruption cases, not just only black wealth earn...

Yes, Since you say it's a business model it will benefit for sure, provided all critical importance and security measures are covered in the business model. It will work wonders if it's designed with ethical business model in mind. It's the best...

I tend to agree that it wont last for long. Social networking sites require a certain type of person to use them for maximum potential - a person who is practically transparent on all issues. Most of us take a while to get to that condition. It is...

I realized the other day that creating a new company for the first time is a lot like whipping up a great pasta salad for the first time – you need a recipe, even though it may look simple. You know the basic ingredients, and you can visualize the results you want. Yet you may not be so sure where to start, and how to put it all together. More... http://short.to/22fo5 .

"Ashok, a fresh computer graduate from a world- class University, goes for an interview in a Software company. The interviewer is Sunder, a grubby old man. And the first question he asks Ashok is, ‘Are you good at logic?’ ‘Of course,’ replies Ashok. ‘Let me test you,’ replies Sunder. ‘Two men come down a chimney. One comes with a clean face and the other comes out with a dirty face. Which one would wash his face?’ Ashok stares at Sunder. ‘Is that a test in Logic?’ Sunder nods. ‘The one with the dirty face washes his face’, Ashok answers wearily. ‘Wrong. The one with the clean face washes his face. Examine the simple logic. The one with the dirty face looks at the one with the clean face and thinks his face is clean. The one with the clean face looks at the one with the dirty face and thinks his face is dirty. So, the one with the clean face washes his face.’ ‘Hmm. I never thought of that," says Ashok. ‘Give me another test.’ Sunder holds up two fingers, ‘Two men come down a...

World IP Day, 26 April: "The Power of Ideas as the seedbed for innovation and creativity" "World Intellectual Property Day is an opportunity to encourage people to think about the role played by intellectual property in everyday life, and about its importance in stimulating and safeguarding innovation and creativity. This year we celebrate the starting point of all intellectual property, the seeds from which all innovations and creative works grow – ideas." WIPO member states decided, in 2000, to designate a World Intellectual Property Day to raise awareness of the role of intellectual property in our daily lives, and to celebrate the contribution made by innovators and artists to the development of societies across the globe. April 26 was chosen as this was the date on which the Convention establishing WIPO entered into force in 1970. Significance of World IP Day To raise awareness of how patents, copyright, trademarks and designs impact daily life To increase understanding of how...
