After a cluster of disconcerting e-mails and documents surfaced last week from climate scientists associated with the "Climategate" scandal of 2009, it was reported Sunday that top British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) executives sought advice from Britain’s leading green activist research center. Released on November 22, the leaked e-mails and documents reveal climate "experts" collaborating to plot devious schemes to further their global-warming agenda. According to the U.K.'s  Daily   Mail , "Like the first 'Climategate' leaks two years ago, the leaked materials were placed last week on a Russian server by an anonymous source." As recently  reported  by  The New American , these new revelations only add to the proof that global-warming alarmists vilify and ignore scientists with contrary beliefs, and have embarked on a propaganda campaign: A few scientists’ e-mails expressed skepticism and concern about the shadowy process, too. At least one expert complained that his...

If we analyse the nature of students' demand, what they want as customers are: Expert Teaching Quality Learning Resources Well-structured Courses Either Marketable Skills or a Strong Brand or even both Flexibility Fair Assessment The concept that that all learning can be made fun and easy is flawed. Although it should be interesting, the task is to teach skills. It is difficult to get away with poor quality teaching any longer. However, in the area of assessment, there is insufficient objectivity and discipline at present. There is a strong case that all assessment should be anonymous and conducted at arm’s length. WINNERS AND LOSERS There are however a number of areas of new demand which fundamentally represent good news for those in the education sector who can ride the wave in a clever way: the knowledge worker; business advice; the law; health; "edutainment"; financial planning. Not everyone can win. Among the winners   in these changing conditions are likely to be: those who...

The bitter pills for India reprieve.    Part 1.  Full article is available in the links   http://wp.me/p1ZsI2-5I    1. Introduction:  1.1. The inherent perils of Democracy. Individuality in thoughts and unrelenting desire and self centric ambition  to gain superiority over the other and being the basic instincts that differentiate the human race, a political setup that envisages a country be ruled by a government of  the people, by  the People and for the People, is more an utopian myth than a realizable reality. It is too ambitious to wish that India, a very young federal nation inheriting long embedded ethnic variations, diverse cultures, social structures, linguistic differences, and  highly dominating regional beliefs and interests, to become such an utopian democratic nation too soon.  This is one of the major perils of our type of democratic process. Nonetheless, it is only fair for every Indian to aspire to have sober and stable governments at federal level that could take...

Rahul Dravid announced his retirement and suddenly we find a new member in the team. Some people think he should have retired earlier while other say he should have continued playing. But all in all I find his decision of making space for someone new right. We need the 'new' generation to come u and replace old before it is too late. This is not only applicable to the game but everywhere. Yes specially politics. During the recent elections when the elephant was run over by the cycle we all knew its going to be one of them. It rarely makes  any difference who it is.  In cricket the selector don't want to let go the experienced and in politics the inexperienced do not want to jump in. How often do we find a new bee out of an unknown background coming up for a change. If we ask our-self would we be up to participate in the dirty job? I presume that perhaps the answer is 'NO' My question is how can we convince, teach and encourage the new generation to participate in the process of...
