About "The Importance Of Personal Career Development... " topic:

This is the reason that many young and middle aged adults are now seeking the guidance of personal career development coaches.

When high school students have a clear understanding of the best career choices for them, the end result is better planning, more college enrollments, and a more productive society for the future.

Lets discuss more on this......

You get your clothes cleaned when they’re dirty. You pay your bills each month. You see your doctor once or twice a year. You send cards to family-members at each birthday. So, why is it that most people (maybe even you!) don’t integrate career management into their regular routine? Here are 10 other common misconceptions about career management: 1. The most qualified candidate gets the job offer. WRONG! Many times candidates with lesser qualifications get job offers simply because they’ve prepared and presented themselves in a more compelling way. In other words, they’re better self-marketers! Being 'qualified' is not enough. You must CONVINCE the employer that you're the best candidate fo...

Very insightful but i dont agree with point no.1 of yours. Today companies are overtly dependent on professional qualifications, people dont have time for an experienced candidate. I am the best example - i dont have an MBA from a premier B school...

I agree reading depends on the format of text and I have seen it is much easier to read paragraphs with larger font size and well highlighted coontents.

Akhilesh Sir, I agree with you but sometimes we don't have hard copies,so please tell how to increase reading speed of an E book and how to memorize it. I would be thankful if you tell about that also.

I’ve mentioned this briefly , but I thought I’d explain a little bit more about MITs – Most Important Tasks. It’s not an  original concept , but one that I use on a daily basis and that has helped me out tremendously. It’s very simple: your MIT is the task you most want or need to get done today. In my case, I’ve tweaked it a bit so that I have three MITs — the three things I  must  accomplish today. Do I get a lot more done than three things? Of course. But the idea is that no matter what else I do today, these are the things  I want to be sure of doing . So, the MIT is the first thing I do each day, right after I have a glass of water to wake me up. And here’s the key to the MITs for me: ...

China has been thriving in recent years and has been named as the “World’s factory” because of its high production and low labor cost. It seems to be a trend now to import goods from China directly since there will be middleman in between and hence one can get the latest and cheapest products. China offers a vast array of products and to track something down that is suitable, you are going to need someone who knows the country well. He or she can advise you very quickly if you are likely to find a company where you could place your order and thereby increase your margins. Here are some of the things that you will need to establish before working with an import agent: Full product details with drawings / graphics Packing presentation details Branding requirements Certifications Safety standards required Date product is required Quantities (min order quantities apply in most cases) Also you need to take care of the following things if you are planning to import from China; Products...

IMPORTANT ADVISORY Do not open any message with an attachment called:"Invitation FACEBOOK", regardless of who sent it. It is a virus that opens an Olympic torch that burns the whole hard disc C of your computer. This virus will be received from someone you had in your address book. That's why you should send this message to all your contacts. It is better to receive this email 25 times than to receive the virus and open it. If you receive E-MAIL called: "Invitation FACEBOOK", though sent by a friend, do not open it and delete it immediately.  CNN said it is a new virus discovered recently and that has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. It is a Trojan Horse that asks you to install an adobe flash plug-in. Once you install it, it's all over. And there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information of their function is saved.        Do not open any message with an...

HI The most stressful part of job interview is to get stuck in those questions which are generic in nature but nevertheless difficult to answer. Here is a few answers to those questions, that should help you. 01 Tell us about yourself? For a long time, I would go around talking about my place of birth, education and work experience etc etc. Then I  realised how silly it sounds. Interviewers want to know the candidates skillsets, strengths and achievements in the past and how these are related to the requirement of job. For example: “I am really passionate about my work. Whatever I do I do it with full of my dedication, determination and devotion. I am working in insurance sales for last two years and that has given me a lot confidence and taught me the importance of time management and goal setting. I have been consistently achieving my targets for the last 3 quarters. I also have organized and been part of various road shows and counseling activity for lead generation”. To read...

Hi Friends, I am sharing with the reviews of IBM on work culture, growth prospects salary, done by their employees. Please share your views. A Project Manager wrote: What I like about IBM: "IBM offers a very flexible working environment. In most cases, no one will ask you what time you come or go from office. Neither the logs of the swipe card will be analyzed to take some action against you in normal circumstances. In special circumstances, the company can even allow you to work from home. No blocking of internet or phones . All in all, you are "not" working in a jail. It has a wealth of knowledge..... " What I don't like about IBM: "Sometimes you feel that there are too many processes to follow. The company is so huge that it is a challenge to make people aware of existing processes. I have often seen it happening that sometimes small groups within IBM try to develop their own processes, often unaware that such a best practice already exists and can be leveraged. Day trading refers to the practice of buying and selling financial instruments within the same trading day such that all positions will usually (not necessarily always) be closed before the market close of the trading day. This is different from After-hours trading. Traders that participate in day trading are called day traders. Some of the more commonly day-traded financial instruments are stocks, stock options, currencies, and a host of futures contracts such as equity index futures, interest rate futures, and commodity futures. Day trading used to be the preserve of financial firms and professional investors and speculators. Many day traders are bank or investment firm employees working as specialists in equity investment and fund management. However, day trading has become increasingly popular among casual traders due to advances in technology, changes in legislation, and the popularity of the internet. First of all let me give you few tips that you must follow if you are going...
