Today�s new pool of cheap labor is everyday people using their time and energy to create content and solve problems. The productive potential of millions of plugged-in enthusiasts is attracting the attention of new as well as old-line businesses. For the last decade or so, companies have been looking overseas, to India or China, for cheap labor. But now it doesn�t matter where the laborers arethey might be down the block, they might be in Indonesiaas long as they are plugged in to the network, we�re all connected. Crowdsourcing has the potential to upset the entire applecart. For example, the ways in which work is organized, talent is employed, research is done, and products are made and marketed can be completely revolutionized. There are implications for individual businesses, associations (think of the opportunities for both creativity and cutting costs) and society in general. No doubt most of the business processes are skeptical in practicing Crowdsourcing, but if formulated with wise strategy and execution, crowdsourcing is a very real and important business idea. Definitions and terms vary, but the basic idea is to tap into the collective intelligence of the public at large to complete business-related tasks that a company would normally either perform itself or outsource to a third-party provider. Yet free labor is only a narrow part of crowdsourcing's appeal. More importantly, it enables managers to expand the size of their talent pool while also gaining deeper insight into what customers really want. I'm going to assume by micro-crowds you are really referring to niche targets. Niche targets can be divided up into a number of vertical subsegments which can probably be further divided and so on. I always thought traditional marketing...

These Jargons are like Bio rythms. They keep appearing on the business or management discussion boards. The premise on which the phrase 'Crowd sourcing' has been crafted is that in a networked world labour can be obtained from any end as long as the creative potential is tapped at a low cost. The term crowd is associated with a relatively non contributary gathering . It gels better with the political scene. It is imperative for us to realize the POWER held in our words! When we state something, we are DECLARING it to the Universe, empowering our words by the time spent in saying them as well as through the energy we use to convey them and any emotion or passion we direct as we state them. How often do we use words that are “contractions”? Have you ever pondered that perhaps these shortened words diminish the fact that we are stating things through means of NEGATIVE energy rather than POSITIVE? When we omit words such as “can’t” and”won’t”, even other words such as “if” from our daily speaking, we replace them with more affirming words such as CAN and WILL and WHEN….making these much more empowering to us and conveying a more positive energy and higher energy vibration. We also need to heed caution in how we declaring things or as I say CLAIM or OWN things such as illness or afflictions or disease. However, I feel the term 'manager' applies primarily to business, it's in a manager's best interest to lead his co-workers effectively, encouraging them to achieve their goals and targets.
