I agree with Mr. Murthy. It would take a little longer for it to be booming. It is recovering from the slump but still it needs more time for one to call it booming.

The prospects in Real Estate industry is not promising. It is still recovering from the recession and it is too early to call it a 'booming industry'. Certainly it will recover and its prospects are good, considering present day trends.

In today's world of fast food, fast cars, and instant gratification, people expect to be in touch at all times. We have become conditioned to staying in touch with businesses, friends, and families. Because of this desire for instant data, we have the Internet, cell phones, Wi-Fi, MP3 players, and DVD players. As the equipment needed to drive this thirst has become smaller and smaller, we find ourselves looking for portable replacements for our bulky desktop computers. This article guides you into the exciting world of Windows mobile development so you can take advantage of an expanding opportunity to supply software to this burgeoning market. Getting Started There are currently two choices for producing mobile software using a Windows operating system: ActiveSync on XP, and—for Vista—a new interface built upon ActiveSync technology, called the Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC). In the recent CoDe Focus issue on Mobile PC Development (2007, Volume 4, Issue 2), Nick Landry's...

Private labels V/s national brands-The undercurrent battle! This is very interesting to note that what is making national brands vexing is not the competitors alone but the surge of private labels which seems to be eating out major chunk of the pie, traditionally a part of the appetite of the former. Private Label Manufacturer's Association categorizes PL manufacturers into 4 main categories: Large national brand manufacturers that utilize their expertise and excess plant capacity to supply store brands. Mall, quality manufacturers who specialize in particular product lines and concentrate on producing store brands almost exclusively. Often these companies are owned by corporations that also produce national brands. Major retailers and wholesalers that own their own manufacturing facilities and provide store brand products for themselves. Regional brand manufacturers that produce private label products for specific markets. In 2008, private labels had taken over 25% to 50% in...

One young academically excellent person went for an interview for a managerial position in a big company. The director discovered from the CV, that the youth's academic result was excellent all the way, from the secondary school until the postgraduate research, never was there a year he did not score. The director asked, "Did you obtain any scholarship in school?" and the youth answered "no". The director asked, " Did your father pay your school fees?". STORY WHICH MAKES US TO THINK Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness , Sadness , Knowledge , and all of the others , including Love . One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love. Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment. When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help. Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said, “ Richness , can you take me with you?” Richness answered, “No, I can’t. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you.” Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. “ Vanity , please help me!” “I can’t help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat,” Vanity answered. Sadness was close by so Love asked, “ Sadness , let me go with you.” “Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!” Happiness passed by Love,...

Written by Nisan Gabbay Facebook was launched in February 2004 by Harvard undergrad students as an alternative to the traditional student directory. Its popularity quickly spread to other colleges in the US by word of mouth, and the site now registers close to 15M monthly UVs and over 6B page views per month. Facebook has completed two rounds of venture financing at very high valuations, the first at a valuation of ~$100M and the second at ~$550M (valuations are unconfirmed). These valuations were driven by the multiple acquisition offers that Facebook has reportedly turned down (the latest was a rumored $750M offer). Facebook is already generating significant revenue, so despite all the valuation and web traffic metric hype, it has also established a very real business. Interviews conducted: Noah Kagan, early product manager for Facebook. Noah will soon release an e-book on Facebook, with good insight on the social networking space. You will be able to download the book at Noah s...
