Don't you think the cities in which we are living needs a better infrastructure plan altogether, the roads are very narrow, there is no scope of further improvement at all, and there are cities which are badly planned altogether. Here comes Urban regeneration into scene.

Urban regeneration is a program of land redevelopment in areas of moderate to high density urban land use. Cities are potential engines of economic growth for their countries, as well as celebrations of collective human hope, imagination and efforts. While cities in the developed world are readjusting to post-industrial economies and shrinking populations at this time in history, cities in the developing world are swelling with rural-urban migrations and squatter areas alongside rising prosperity.
At either end of the spectrum, there is pressure for cities to engage in the global economy just as new information and communication technologies make it increasingly easy to do so. Cities now compete for financial investments, multinational companies and talented human resources, all of which that are becoming increasingly mobile across the global stage.

So, let us discuss everything about Urban Regeneration, and what goes into developing your city to be the next big thing in every aspect...

Every thing is beautifully mentioned. The planning and development should include green technologies for new areas and satellite towns and develop a strong metro culture in the core area of the city. There should be responsible officers to report...

I am not sure whether this is really happened or not, But I liked it and want to share with all my friend here. Please read once ............ One day Maths teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down. It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers. That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual. On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. 'Really?' she heard whispered. 'I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!' and, 'I didn't know others liked me so much,' were most of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She...

10 things about good bosses Do you like your boss? Let's be honest, a majority of employees will definitely come with a negative answer to this question. Yes, bosses are not always there to be liked. But is there any fun being a boss who is not respected or ineffective at managing staff? Of course not, so let's have a look at what it takes to be a good boss. Below are 10 things that bosses can do to guarantee that their subordinates and co-workers will respect them. 1. Praise the staff in public, correct them in private Good bosses know it very well that praising and encouraging the staff is the key to have a positive atmosphere within the office and it helps to bring the best in them. If someone does something well, a good boss should recognize them for their efforts. People need to know when they are doing well and that they are appreciated. However, if someone is not doing so well, speak to them privately, instead of calling them out in front of a group. 2. Pay people what...

Let me share a few issues for TS members. Demarcation of the boundary was initially made with limited accuracy (reasons beyond scope here). At places it did not follow geographical features. The line stopped at a point known as NJ 9842 on the map – with no demarcation beyond. It is due to the strategic importance of the Saltoro Ridge that Pakistani troops began creeping up we were left with no option but to quickly occupy our territory. That was 1984. Today we occupy advantageous strategic positions. There is far more to our northern frontiers than Siachen Glacier. We do have a significant presence of troops in various other parts of the north. The Siachen glacier is only a fraction. Heights are dizzying, temperatures are sub sub zero (can only be felt, not imagined), silence is total (actually screams at you), and the loneliness is so profound that only the numbers of troops going hysterical, or otherwise suffering, can explain. Even walking with such low oxygen levels is...
