About "US ECONOMY - TURN AROUND IN 2009?" topic:
The US responded to an unprecedented financial crisis of global magnitude with a combination of forces: tax cuts, Government spend (both to the tune of nearly USD 0.8 Trillion) and a host of policy measures in Regulatory Compliance and Governance. The US seems to have contained the recession to be a less than prolonged one and is apparently seeing results, as the depth of contraction in the US economy is getting reduced, faster than expected. Is US Economy turning around in 2009?

US Economy is largely contributed by almost 80% of non-us citizens(migrants), untill unless all of them plan to return to their base, they will find one or another way to keep the economy strong !!!!, at the end of the day its migrant living...

USA still needs a long time to see a Turn Around. The eason is that, the recession in USA is real, whereas in rest of the world, it is either impact of collapsing USA market or a panic reaction of USA collapse. The USA recession has been...

FORGET snow — every part of the Office for National Statistics report on the economy was bad news: household spending, business investment, services, finance, construction, even previously hopeful manufacturing figures — all revised downwards — plus declining house prices and anything else you can measure. The one shard of hope is that the lunatic tendency on the Bank of England’s monetary policy committee (Andrew Sentance) may be silenced on raising interest rates. Rising inflation is almost entirely beyond British control — oil and commodity prices. While real pay falls for all but bankers and FTSE boardrooms (up 55 per cent), there is no home-grown wage inflation. Imagine the mayhem in r...

No 1: India Since 1991, when economic liberalization unshackled India from the slow rate of growth and threw its doors open to the global economy, India has never looked back. The Knight Frank report assumes that India will shake off its current crop of social, political and economic issues and go on to the top of the heap.

In today's news, I came across this article that scientists at Sandia National Labs who were seeking a means to create cheap and abundant hydrogen to power a hydrogen economy, realized they could use the same technology to "reverse-combust" CO2 back into fuel. They still have to improve the efficiency of the system, but they recently demonstrated a working prototype of their "Sunshine to Petrol" converting waste CO2 to carbon monoxide, and then syngas, consuming nothing but solar energy. The device, boasting the simple title Counter-Rotating-Ring Receiver Reactor Recuperator (CR5) sets off a thermo-chemical reaction by exposing an iron-rich composite to concentrated solar heat. The composite sheds an oxygen molecule when heated and gets one back as it cools, and therein lies the fuel. The cylindrical metal CR5 is divided into hot and cold chambers. Solar energy heats the hot chamber to a scorching 2,700 degrees, which forces the iron oxide composite to lose oxygen atoms. The...

First of all m sorry to be on toostep after long time..... Give a Smile to stranger one :) Does that sound creepy to you... It should not be... Aside from the fact that smiling makes you more attractive.Don’t wait for people to smile.Show them how. Here in Bengaluru (Bangalore), people are running around with their heads in their phones, dressing up their jeans n t shirts (whatever) and so receiving a smile from a stranger isn’t something that happens every day. Greed, anger and ignorance. Avoid all three The premise is simple: take a big smile like :D to brighten someone else’s day, and get a smile in return :) Remember, your best friend was once a stranger too. Love Animals too bcz they deserve it :) Here ( Bangalore ) I loved Radio Fever 104 with Mad Morning with Aiyoo Shradha :) She is so an amazing one that keep happy others while traveling to offices or colleges whatever between 7 am to 11am :D I always Try to get engaged with...

Security experts have discovered the biggest series of cyber attacks to date, involving the infiltration of the networks of 72 organizations including the United Nations, governments and companies around the world. The long list of victims in the five-year campaign include the governments of the United States, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Vietnam and Canada; the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN); the International Olympic Committee (IOC); the World Anti-Doping Agency; and an array of companies, from defense contractors to high-tech enterprises. "What is happening to all this data ... is still largely an open question. However, if even a fraction of it is used to build better competing products or beat a competitor at a key negotiation (due to having stolen the other team's playbook), the loss represents a massive economic threat." Jim Lewis, a cyber expert with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, was briefed on the discovery by McAfee. He said it was...
