Dear All,
As mentioned in my previous mail , I am participiating in the WagonR Smart ideas contest. Here is a breif overview of my idea :
My idea is a technique called Virtual Traveller(VT)
1. User will be able to complete his dream of visiting distant places without directly travelling in those places in person
2. User need to pay a far less amount of money for this trip compared to what he would be paying if he had to travel to those places in the real life
3. User will be able to virtually travel to a place of his choice multiple times thanks to much lower cost
Implemention
1. VT is a simulation software which can be implemented with Virtual Reality software techniques.
2. VT will simulate the environment helping the user to feel that he is really travelling to those places though in the reality he will not be.
3. Simulators of a different use are already in use in US and some other countries for training their fighter pilots.
4. That simulator needs to be customized for the implementation of this particular requirement.

I realized the other day that creating a new company for the first time is a lot like whipping up a great pasta salad for the first time – you need a recipe, even though it may look simple. You know the basic ingredients, and you can visualize the results you want. Yet you may not be so sure where to start, and how to put it all together. More... http://short.to/22fo5 .

In many ways, a manager has to be a leader, so therefore a manager will have many of the traits that a leader does. However, I feel the term 'manager' applies primarily to business, it's in a manager's best interest to lead his co-workers effectively, encouraging them to achieve their goals and targets. In my experience, a leader is more of a social thing; more associated with team work, too. Go to Discussion http://lnkd.in/wUJe5E

I’m an old geezer on the community network who chips in here and there. Over a period of time I get a feeling that some of our less experienced members are not too sure about what to initiate as useful topics for discussion / debate. To help them out I have put together a set of five questions which they may ask themselves before initiating discussions. May I request more experienced members to chip in with more questions / suggestions / guidelines to make the whole process more purposeful. The set follows:- 1. does the topic add value / knowledge to the community? 2. is the topic worthy of attention / discussion? 3. will the topic lead to / inspire action? 4. will other members like to refer / share it with others? 5. will someone from our community benefit from the topic?
