mesh also uses 2048 bit encryption from  node to node,  which will cover your security issues.

a sinlge point of failure system versus a redudant multipath system. The plain spoke ring approach to wifi is one of its major failures..... of many

the type of wireless (wifi versus mesh) also discates security, locatiosn and security as well, but the type of wireless does make it self heal and mutlipath which is a great solida foundation for your wireless network to be cultured on.

I had some opinions on those specific items and I was curious about that too. My feeling is that most vulnerabilities to a network come from more subtle sources than a blatant hacker. I work for a company with 20,000 employees and about 98% of them wouldn’t even know the definition of the word hacker. That being said they may know how to bring in their home laptop and connect it to the wireless network. If MAC filtering is enabled along with DHCP restrictions or SSID broadcasts disabled this may help protect a network from the majority of less technically savvy users that have just enough knowledge to connect to a network and do harm. Frankly speaking Half knowledge is always dangerous.. He...

Problems could be in the form of ............. I have a wireless router hardwired to the desktop with Windows XP Pro. My Sony Win 2000 notebook has lost Internet capabilities. The network monitor on the Sony gives excellent connectivity sometimes, but even then I can't access e-mail or surf. I get Error 0x800CCC0D with Outlook Express. At first I was going to try to uninstall and reinstall the programs, but then my Dell notebook (XP Pro) also stopped connecting wirelessly. Should I delete all my network settings on all machines and start fresh, or is there something else that I should try? Solution is :-First, see if the Sony notebook gets an IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS...

being an technical guy it would be not be perfect to say sixth sence as sixth sence technology.technology is always a part/outcome of some kind of innovation and sixth sence it is prediction.so both prediction and innovation can not be same.

Rahul Dravid announced his retirement and suddenly we find a new member in the team. Some people think he should have retired earlier while other say he should have continued playing. But all in all I find his decision of making space for someone new right. We need the 'new' generation to come u and replace old before it is too late. This is not only applicable to the game but everywhere. Yes specially politics. During the recent elections when the elephant was run over by the cycle we all knew its going to be one of them. It rarely makes  any difference who it is.  In cricket the selector don't want to let go the experienced and in politics the inexperienced do not want to jump in. How often do we find a new bee out of an unknown background coming up for a change. If we ask our-self would we be up to participate in the dirty job? I presume that perhaps the answer is 'NO' My question is how can we convince, teach and encourage the new generation to participate in the process of...
