not surprising... actually osama is suffering with no of diseases...Obama wanted to kill osama rather than natural death. that6s why Mr obama shaped the operation without any help of pakistan...to show his nation that america take revenge of 9/11,...

Has the US killed Osama? No one can confirm, except wikileaks, which may take time. Speculation has it that he has been captured alive, and with Pakistan support. However, given that Pak is a Islam nation, cannot afford to be shown as a traitor...

It is difficult to prove that OSAMA is dead or alive! If America says something, we have to agree it only because America is a powerful country! So if there are questions raising on Pakistan after this,  America will find solution for it as...

Osama is dead and the worse is yet to come!! In an audio message issued to the Pakistani media from an undisclosed location, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan spokesman Ahsanullah Ahsan confirmed the death of bin Laden, the world's most wanted man, and said his group would take revenge for his killing. In telephone calls to journalists in northwest Pakistan shortly after the US announced the killing of bin Laden yesterday, Ahsan warned that top Pakistani leaders, including President Asif Ali Zardari, and the Pakistan Army would be the 'first targets' of his group. This is a warning that there are many things except Osama's death which need to be taken care of. Being happy just for this would not do...

Who Was Hiding Bin Laden? The Indian security establishment is convinced that Osama bin Laden was in the safekeeping of Pakistan Army and the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), and purposely left his huge Abbottabad mansion unwatched to avoid attracting attention, sources reportedly told the Sakaal Times . Certainly the ISI keeps many people under 24/7 surveillance, so it seems inconceivable that in a garrison town an ‘outsider’ like bin Laden would be able to move into and and live in a large and distinctive house so close to a military academy without the knowledge of the ISI or some other Pakistani government agency.   Constructed in 2005, the mansion was eight times bigger than other ho...

Osama’s Killing: Questions and Strategic Implications   Guest Column by Rajeev Sharma (The views expressed are his own)     Several questions arise in the killing of Al Qaeda Chief Osama bin Laden in the wee hours of May 2, 2011. These questions are food for strategic thought and can have long term policy implications for India, for the region and the world.   First, was there a deal between the Pakistani military establishment and the Obama administration as a result of which bin Laden, the most wanted man on earth with a reward of $ 25 million on his head for close to a decade, fell in Americans’ lap like a ripe apple? Second, if the answer to the first question is in affirmative, then wh...

A California treasure hunter claims he is about to embark on a search to recover the body of Osama Bin Laden. Bill Warren, a career deep sea wreck explorer and diver, says he has backers in New York, Scotland and Chicago who are investing in the search to find the Al Qaida terrorist's remains. According to the Pentagon, Bin Laden's corpse was buried at sea from a deck on the USS Carl Vinson on the morning of May 2, hours after he was killed in a Navy Seals operation on a secret compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. 'I am doing it because I am a patriotic American who wants to know the truth,' Warren, 59, told the US news outlet TMZ. 'I do it for the world. Warren's boat is anchored in Western I...

No 1: India Since 1991, when economic liberalization unshackled India from the slow rate of growth and threw its doors open to the global economy, India has never looked back. The Knight Frank report assumes that India will shake off its current crop of social, political and economic issues and go on to the top of the heap.

World IP Day, 26 April: "The Power of Ideas as the seedbed for innovation and creativity" "World Intellectual Property Day is an opportunity to encourage people to think about the role played by intellectual property in everyday life, and about its importance in stimulating and safeguarding innovation and creativity. This year we celebrate the starting point of all intellectual property, the seeds from which all innovations and creative works grow – ideas." WIPO member states decided, in 2000, to designate a World Intellectual Property Day to raise awareness of the role of intellectual property in our daily lives, and to celebrate the contribution made by innovators and artists to the development of societies across the globe. April 26 was chosen as this was the date on which the Convention establishing WIPO entered into force in 1970. Significance of World IP Day To raise awareness of how patents, copyright, trademarks and designs impact daily life To increase understanding of how...

I reckon the lines said by a sensible person in the past that a person cannot be deceived unless the he himself consents to be decieved. To be a bit more clearer, I quote the mordant tongue of my dear friend Chuck Doherty, “If a man is ready to blow, an aspirant will come even from the banks of Lake Titicaca hiring a cab, to make him blow.” “This country is full of people who are dangerously disciplined”, Doherty once lamented and it was about the people of India. He had always maintained that majority of the people of this country were poor sceptics and if there was a minority who looked like that, they were simply cynics. Although, I never understood initially what he meant, today I see something identical to Doherty's theory. This is all about a part of the media of Tamil Nadu revealing video clippings of alleged sexual escapades of a Godman in company of a second string South Indian female film artist. More interesting than the news itself has been the response put forth by the...

Security experts have discovered the biggest series of cyber attacks to date, involving the infiltration of the networks of 72 organizations including the United Nations, governments and companies around the world. The long list of victims in the five-year campaign include the governments of the United States, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Vietnam and Canada; the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN); the International Olympic Committee (IOC); the World Anti-Doping Agency; and an array of companies, from defense contractors to high-tech enterprises. "What is happening to all this data ... is still largely an open question. However, if even a fraction of it is used to build better competing products or beat a competitor at a key negotiation (due to having stolen the other team's playbook), the loss represents a massive economic threat." Jim Lewis, a cyber expert with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, was briefed on the discovery by McAfee. He said it was...
