For the past 6 months i have been involved in designing a tool to do the following:

1. Workplace conflict Management
2. Succession Planning
3. Team performance Management
4. Team Formation enabler
5. Talent Management
6. Training need identification
7. Recruitment assessment
8. Attrition management

Do you think this tool is required today in our organizations?

these tools are required but they need proper succession .so once again it all goes in planning process again  for organizational devlopment

Hi Navneet

I agree to you there is a dire need of this tool at this point of time in industries, but tools can be utilised better in those places where you have less human intervention and things are supposed to move automatically in a process. With human intervenetion there are so many domains involved like emotions/aspirations/wants....... its a daunting task to capture a measure for all these intangible aspects of human behavior.
As far as succession planning and performance management are concerned, yes they can still be mapped to an appreciable degree using a tool.
but Conflict/Talent/Attrition....... can attract several human behaviors which may not be measured to an accuracy to reach out a conclusion.

Its Absolutely required first and foremost planning should be correct, to enter into next phase without errors, all other phases depend upon planning, all the tools are must for any organisation
