Accreditations in healthcare...!

well... JCI is a subsidiary of JOINT COMMISSION which does consulting and standards development and adaption ,as well as direct facility accreditation ,throughout the world,in both developing and developed countries.JCI publishes its international standards ...it world wide accepted in healthcare sector.

Thank you Suyashi for the information. It always feels fresh to pick up information from your postings. Accreditations are always a prima facie evidence of the quality of any service but such presumption hovers till it is rebutted. In plain words, accreditations,no doubt raise face value and glorify the service, but its ultimately the people who always have the final word.

Could you please highlight what Joint Council International does, and how they are relevant in the Indian context?

Accreditation is not only helathacare but also you will see in each field or sector. To show the quality product not only big company but also small company or institue have available accreditation. That means we may be perceeived that the world or country is becoming quality because all company having differen different accreditation.

Even educational institute also  have ISO or other accreditation. Thanks ms.suyashi for referal....
