Thanks Neelima for the referral. As rightly said by Mr. Muralidharan Hero Worship is not new to TamilNadu. But one thing all Tamilians r happy largely because the minister has not done any stooping job as it happened in UP Politics. We r unfortunate that DMK IS NOT IN POWER .HAD THEY BEEN THEN I WOULD HAVE INVITED U TO MADURAI TO WITNESS WHAT THE CUT OUT CULT IS ALL ABOUT. MADURAI , THE SECOND LARGEST CITY IS FAMOUS FOR NOT ONLY CUTOUT CULTURE, HERO WORSHIP, TEMPLE FOR ACTRESS KUSHBOO, EVEN TO KNOW A MOVIE'S SUCCESS RATE THEY REFER MADURAI THEATER OWNERS OPINIONS EVEN TO-DAY. THE FLEX BANNER IS NOW RULING THE CITY WEATHER IT IS A MARRIAGE OR EAR RING CEREMONY THE FLEX BANNER IS THE INVITATION.

Firstly, these characters make you & me fool. Also, thinks that others can be made puppet to her. People need to identify these characters & closely monitor their activities. Anything substandard, at-least to minister caliber, is to be highlighted to the public. He may be under the impression that Minister in Monarchy where they remain like this and has been pictured in many movies. God save IT.

Another weierd way of height of sycophancy in TN, Guess it is order of the day in TN now a days. 

It is individual choice. As long his performance is good, as long as he doen't become a chamcha to her and sign on the dotted line, okay... once this devotion crosses the limits, it is to be curtailed.. by none other than Amma herself.. With my experience she enjoys this drama and will not step in to stop this.

Let us look at the positive sides. Bakthi in whatever form on ones leader / guide may transform into sincere duty also. Let us get matured by appreciating positive sides of every event and expect every one to turn to good.

One can not comment on an individual's choice, a there are no. of examples already set in south.
For ex: A temple in the name of actress Khushboo in Tiruchirapalli & the same actress came across criticism when she commented something publicly about pre-marital sex & aids, then the same temple was demolished in 2005.

So, anything can be happened in Tamilnadu.& we can found no of examples also all over the India.

This is the biggest for any leader.  They make them to live in illusions. This worshiping kept her out of power for 10 years. If she failed to realise at least now, she has to pay price for it.  

Hero worship is not new to TN politics - MGR was worshipped by the cadres.  There was a "cut-out" cult among the cadres when Jaya came into prominence.  The taller the cut-out of hers, the closer he / she becomes to the party high command.  She is better compared to the high command in the UP politics, who expects her police cadre to dust her chappels as she carries on discussions on animated tours!
