A top Indian Army general has warned that India not only faces the threat from Chinese troops along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China but it could well extend to the Line of Control (LoC) with Pakistan due to the expansive Beijing-Islamabad military nexus. The massive build-up of Chinese military infrastructure all along the 4,057-km LAC, especially in the Tibet Autonomous Region, as well as the expanding Chinese footprint in infrastructure projects in PoK is by now well-documented. But this is the first time a senior Army commander has publicly expressed apprehensions about People's Liberation Army troops actually being stationed along the volatile 778-km-long LoC between India and Pakistan!!

After knowing all these details do you think China can be threat to India?

Possibly Yes. If India does not have the requisite military deterrents (conventional and nuclear) and military alliances, then China may be tempted to test their military power with us and thus become a threat. Military weakness may beget contempt and military opportunism.

China and Pak are like 2 brothers in crime against India. And if we are to survive that threat we better amplify their wrong-doings in the UN and make the international community take note of their misdeeds. All said and done, we should be prepared and ready to thwart any attempt on our soil militarily and politically.

Thank you Disha. I think so too. Our political attitude seems that resisting China would be too difficult and long drawn task without too much political milage. So it is put on a back-burner.

It is a matter of great concern for us. India also knows the threat form Pak & China, but is prepared to meet any challenges from both sides. To day India is strong both in conventional and nuclear, but not showing openly. What we need is the strong leadership for our country with high degree of diplomatic & expertness in dealing with foreign affairs. . Thanks for the referral Ms.Disha Roy.

AND WHEN EXPOSED OR PUSHED TO THE WALL THEY PLEAD IGNORANCE OR IS IT INCOMPETENCE. ANYDAY CHINA IS BETTER RULED AND ABOVE ALL DELIVERED ON THE GROUND. Incursion are not just taking place due to Pakistan or China. Our own Military Heads and Politicians are now so corrupt and busy in collecting Treasures at swiss banks (Adarsh Society, 2G scam). Thus, these all things can happen, obviously. We need to clean our machineries from grass-root to stop corrosion.

For that matter every nation is a threat. We have to find our own way and tread it. Can't blame any nation or China for it. If your house is not in order the neighbours can not blamed for the undoings or wrong doings of your citizens.

China is a threat to country but not in the military way now. Every country in these days has the weapon. and what will be the result of war they know. The fighting technique is different now. China is fighting the war of economy. it is releasing the low cost things in every country and making billions of revenue from them. It is very degradable for a country that its million person are using the things of other country. The Companies here will be in great loss and the employee in them would be unempolyed. Then what they will do? Unemployment problem is still there in india. What will happen when the manufacturing concern of india or any other country will be loss. It is a big game by china. We have to be aware.

An undemocratic and authoritarian China will definitely be threat to its neighbors including India. China has problems not only with India, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, Philippines the list is very long. But the fast pace of developments taking place in China, will definitely bring in new social churns inside China. The happenings in the Middle Eastern autocracies are an eye-opener to everybody. China alone can’t escape from the verdict history.

It is a hard question. May I say, "The ultimate question."? It's not a matter of business or about which social/political system would prevail. It's a matter of life and death. It's a matter of living space. It's a matter of survival. (to render what I mean more clearly visit the blog http://galileoschool.blogspot.com/).
China & India or India & China are some of the key-players in this dangerous game of "WHO WILL SURVIVE ON EARTH?". China & India don't play by themselves. There are some other big shoes around. I hope you're aware only too well that the checking of the validity of the famous Latin saying "Divide at impera!" would do nothing but enable a third party to yield the fruits of the blindness of the sides inaugurated in question "Is China threat to India?"

China no doubt a threat to India and vice versa. The 1962 will never happen in future, if happens the consequences may be grave for both nations and even Communism may come to an end in China. If you supporters of both sides you will find the scale tilts in favor of India.

When strategic expert utters a threat, we can not brush it aside. We need to get alerted.
Defence advisory council will, always, be there to analyze & infer correct situations.

Incursions are taking place in LOC in Pakistan under the guise of civil construction on Jhelum river by the Chinese company monitored by the Chinese Army. That was the worry raised by the Lt.Gen. of Northern Command. They have already laid their hands on Arunachal Pradesh, incursions in Ladhak, and now the POK. We should not keep silent on the paper visas issued to people from J&K, POK, Arunachal Pradesh, etc. They are strategically positioning in the border state taking Pakistan Government into confidence. If we dont arrest this tension, there is a great danger that China will for take the supremacy in Asia (both militarily and in business)!

China has been reported to be a threat for the US as well with a 20 year strategy to gain supremacy. In my opinion as long as a nation strives for economic independence and better capabilities on a global scale it can go places. But in case of the creating hostile situation for India long term friendship with Russia and the post-cold-war friendship with the US should come very handy for India in case of an eventuality, a military showdown. However until the flashpoint, a nexus between Pakisthan and China on the northern region would give sleepless nights. Even Afghanisthan as a nation is well in support of India as against the next door neighbour Pakisthan, from a military perspective.

But I think from a Business perspective international connectivity for infrastructure development on the Indian side could mean a big difference to the International Borders. We might need to be capable of handling the mighty Chinese with smarter moves to avoid any bloodshed. India would have to invest and attract investments in the vulnerable sectors and bring international attention to the sensitive region.
