I would like to share an email that I sent in response to an information request about constructionexchange.com

"I have been pleasently supprized and amazed at the frequency that Constructionexchange.com is showing up in newspapers across the US. The following link is to the first article in the Press Democrat in Northern California.

http://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/20081121/BUSINESS/811210314/13...

The same article was picked up by two more papers in FL, the Ocala Business Tribune and the Sarasota Herald Tribune, and a separate write up was featured on Construction Marketing Ideas ( http://constructionmarketingideas.blogspot.com/2008/11/construction... ). The newspaper articles emphasize that this site ( constructionexchange.com ) is building a solid foundation in its niche market. There are not, at least to my knowledge, any social networking sites that are as easy to navigate, provide insightful discussions that relate to my profession, allow me to share elements of my profession and projects that I am working on through discussion and photo, buy and sell goods, and look for potential new hires and if necessary new places of employment all while building a network of professionals that are comprised of my peers in the markets that relate to me and my business and profession. The site launched in August and as of this morning had 1,103 members and 106 of those have signed up in the last 48 hours. A lot of this growth, I think, is built of the interaction with the users. The creators are very receptive to input on the site and are looking to consistently improve through the collaborative effort of the members. I have been a member of the site through the beta testing stages and have been involved in its launch by promoting the site and assisting new members establish their personal and business profiles. Please feel free to visit the site, any feedback that you may have would be very much appreciated, and if I can assist you in any way please let me know. When you do join, please send me connection request, I would be happy to have you in my network. Thank you for the interest."

All are welcome to visit constructionexchange.com and all feedback is welcome. Thank you.

Do you think that this funding will hit the water/wastewater treatment industry, and if so, how long do you feel it will take for the projects to hit the bid market?
