The few trends in the Robotics Industry that we are witnessing these days are:
- Emphasis on low cost, single function household robots, as opposed to costly, complex ‘entertainment’ robots
- Robotic house cleaning
- Big conglomerates biding time before committing example; Samsung Electronics Developing its own models but is believed to be deferring its commercial entrance. Currently developing a security model as part of the Ubiquitous Robot Companion project organized by the Information Ministry.
- Robots used for Research Purposes.
- Robots made as helpers of the ageing population of the world.
These are only a few developments till date, lets see hoe it turn up in the future.
