With the growth of e-business, wireless communications, RFID and government regulations, organizations are drowning in data and will succeed only to the extent they are able to harness this data to make decisions. For decades, companies have been deploying general-purpose servers, storage devices, and databases to store growing amounts of data and handle large volumes of transactions.

This is a hot issue for most of the organizations, as there is a need of low cost data warehouses with increased effeciency and high performing ability, and the organizations have bee tring for a long time to design and develop such integrated tools and mechanisims of data storage and data processing mechanisms.

The four effeicint data warehouses identified are Native data warehouse appliance, Software data warehouse appliance , Packaged data warehouse appliance , Data management appliance.

But it has been difficult for the researchers to choose the compatiblility between the products and data warehousing project, because it is a highly integrated mechanism which involves mixed workloads and queries aimed at providing scalability and performance.

This technology will provide industries with various competitive tools for managing data and workload features and the coming businesses will  expect a lot from it........
