Obviously ABhishek... Basically its called LPG ( Liberlisation,Privatisation  and Globalisation) with this India has widen its Market Boundries and come out of Safeguarded Economy and has successfully emerged as an attractive Market for not only TECHNOLOGICAL INDUSTRIES bt has also Invited BIGGEST RETAIL players also FIIs & FDIs has significantly Increased in Indian Economy. If you are talking abt effect on other sectors, India has significantly Started Exports of Not only Food Grins, Sugars, Textile goods etc... So, I feel it has improved Indias Economy.. and Investment of MNCs in India has significantly improved per capita Income of Individuals also...
So I feel It has really improved India in a big way........

Abhishek, India has improved a lot in globalization and liberalization, since we are entering it we need to loose some funds before getting stabilized....... 
Hope India will attain stability soon.....
