We live in one world. What we do affects others, and what others do affects us as never before. We all have responsibilities to each other.
Today’s students will be working in a global marketplace and living in a global society. In order to succeed and to become leaders in this new world, they must acquire a far different set of knowledge, skills and perspectives than previous generations. They must be prepared to trade with, work alongside and communicate with persons from radically different backgrounds than their own. They must be trained to understand and confront complex new global threats, from terrorism to a global flu pandemic.
Keeping this in mind Goldman Sachs came up with Global Leaders Program in the year 2001 in US and this program came to India in the year 2006 to India. In 2006, 24 students were selected from India and now in 2007, this number rose to 29.
What happens in this program:
- 75 individuals from all over the world are invited to participate in an intensive week-long seminar at the Global Leaders Institute in New York City.
- People are given cash prizes, in India it is upto $3000.
- Seclected individuals are also awarded with the title of Goldman Sachs Global Leaders.
- They are made to visit Mumbai and spend some time with all expenses paid by Goldman Sachs.

Update on Zimbabwe Inflation ---------------------------- Zimbabwe Inflation percentage reaches 67 followed by 107 zeros.... Making Zimbabwe withe most number of trillionaires in the world.....Standing ovation to Mugabe and ZANU-PF, without them... |
Another way to tackle the risk and to stop the losses is to have a stop loss on every stock at a percentage of the average cost price, so if there is a stock meltdown like the one which we are having right now, then you can at least be reasonably... |
This will be a defensive approach, but will help you reduce losses. In this case you can plan well and go ahead with smart investment. |
