Tomorrow at the same time we will be witnessing the big D-Day for India.

I have just collated some results on exit polls 2009 on what some media houses were saying.

I feel like the UPA has a slight edge over NDA but the margin is so slim that the sampling and non sampling errors can swing it either way.

I wonder, whether BJP or Congress led coalitions are in a position to form the Govt on their own? or will we see history by BJP - Congress forming alliance which was strongly echoed in our platform.

The others and third front will also get good number of seats and they are the one's who'd decide who forms the next Govt. We have to wait till tomorrow to checkout the real big picture.

Time will tell who will win but I pray that the ultimate winner should be people of India. Let's hope for the best to happen & which should keep overall public interest in mind......

Now the Congress should prove that they are for the country and not for the party alone. They should serve the nation to the best of people.

The much awaited results of polls of India,s election-the world,s biggest /largest democracy are out. The expected mandate by the media and the political pundits about "Not any party will get majority .It will be a hung parlament." has been rubbished by voters and if anything. One single party The UPA or Congress has come with thumping majority. Nobody had predicted the this landslide victory for UPA. So in a technical paralance "Unexpectedly-expected happened."

So now with the confusion ending at "Who will rule India for next 5 years ?" quite conclusively. Market by its own defination abhors uncertainity. The rally of the past month which had surprised everybody-all analyst, market watchers and observers. Now the way we see rally. Can it be said that probably market underbelly knew all this. It had already discounted this event and rewarded the Indian Investor with a steady Uprise rally.

I don't usually watch or read about politics in India because from childhood I found their activities very boring. They come in one size fit all category. Comparing India and USA I wonder how many of our Politicians when they come across each other or can sit face to face and discuss what is transpiring in Indian politics. What they usually do in such times will be Hoarse trading and wheeler dealing.
We are made to believe we are going in the free market direction all the while old Fabian socialistic style manipulations are undertaken.
Undless individual's aspirations and needs are taken into purvey of designing the economy, even if one has to go to the drawing board to start from scratch one should attempt. This should be what Politics is all about and if one is prepared for it then we will have no choice other than live with these Fabian's all the way.

If all these leaders are sincere and working for the betterment of country also, then they should be an alliance between congress and BJP. Then country will progress, stable, secure and secular.

Want to say about the shoe attack, especially on politicians?

The politicians must pay attebtion to the real problems. Even after
60years of independence, most Indians are anxious about his/her basic
needs. Go to the rural area of Maharastra, A.P., U.P., Bihar, Asam any
body can see the reality. But after this 30-60days of Election, our
politicians will sit in their A.C. rooms and think about the poor
people of India. They make policies about the Indians, without seeing
the reality. Result? -> frustration ->illigal activities

Some people learn easily from the bad examples, viz. shoe/mike attack
in assembly/parliament. If our politicians wants to see the noble
behavior from ganeral people, he(the politicians) have to be so.

One solution: Develope the infrastructure e.g. basic education,
light/electricity, communication, transport system. I am sure Indians
will do the rest.

These shoes are the alarm: JAAGO POLITICIANS, WARNA---------------------------?

I feel the time has come for a 2 party system. Too many cooks (regional parties) spoil the broth. It would also be interesting to debate the move to a Presidential form of government.

by looking at the survey and estimating that over 70% predictions are going to happen, then third front and others will have a good fortune.after this survey it is very evident that no one can ignore LEFT parties along with third front.certainly this will going to be gamble by numbers.Honourable President should take great care in inviting any party/alliance to form a Govt.this results will establish a fact once again that regional parties are responsible for fractured mandate and a possible hung parliament.by experiencing rule of UPA for 5 yrs,one can easily presume that they will do anything to grab power.if at all we are lucky enough,we will not face one more election within 6 months and spending crores of tax payers money.let us wish that any strong and non-fragile alliance will form a Govt.

According to the latest trend, we cannot expect stable govt at the center but, either BJP or Congress will evolve as a single largest party (140-160 seats). However other major parties like SP, BSP, RJD, JD(U), AIADMK, DMK and others support would be crucial.

Obviously, third and fourth front that includes LEFT, JD(S), NCP, TDP etc could either spilt or stand by after election results. Definitely this fronts has no future “As it arise like that dissolves”.

Many dramas still to watch & Mr. Paul I am with you.......

Single party seems a distant dream as of now! It may be a coalition government! I pray for a single party majority too!

Friends, like we saw the benefits of a correction happening in the economic scene across the world, We definitely need a major correction the Indian politics. People should rise now and tell the politicians, enough is enough. Look how shameless the leaders of Regional parties openly demanding one favor or other for their support. Where will we lead this, an open fight between different states as we are already witnessing in some regions.
The most important thing for us is the growth of the country and elimination of poverty, hand in hand with overall growth of the country. This can be achieved only by stable governance. Finding how it can be done is the responsibility of the politicians. If you cannot do please quit the scene for God sake. How it can be done is the responsibility of the politicians.
To make this correction in politics, the only way is to declare a 5 year holiday for political antagonism between leaders of the National party. Nobody is interested in all these bullshits. The two major National parties should show the way by ditching their differences for next five years and share the governance in whichever they find fit.
So demand for it, instead lighting candles and taking processions every time some one smash your face, use this opportunity to make your opinion heard by using the internet and electronic media available to each you in toostep, in facebook, twitter, youtube and send mails to letter to editors and to various TV channels etc. today itself. Let them spend some of their time usefully instead of their usual bashing the viewers with hysterical rhetoric of the so called self proclaimed guardians of the country.

Now is the for all good country men to come to the aid of the nation.

BJP may perform better than they did in 2004, and may retain their seats with some addition to their tally. Also, the difference of seats between the two major parties will be very marginal. India is heading towards one more coalition government, and Congress will have to seek help from many regional parties to come in power.

I sincerely wish that, the single largest party, may be Congress or BJP should get the largest seats, to reduce dependence on small regional parties. This is must for stable and development oriented Government.
Another thing on my wishlist is, Leftists should be reduced to just meaningless bunch, which does not have any role in Government formation.

People are the Real Boss in a Democracy.Particularly NDTV and TOI are the two major Puppets of Cong. They will blabber what they want. If BJP-NDA managed to come neck-to-neck with Congress-UPA, it is a wonderful performance - considering the fact that the Electronic Media was completely promoting Congress-UPA, a good example of repeatedly showing the interview of Priyanka by Barka Dutt.

How convenient it is to blame the government.. There are flaws in government and then there were always flaws there.. now we can see them clearly because many people are coming up and giving voice to the wrong practices..
It is a wonderful concept but we need a right plan to follow it. Just an idea wont help.
Bad news really bad news . 1) We should produce our own arms . 2) More arms means more fight. 3) Only arms would not ensure security.
