MR. charles . i do agree with you .. its all the new way to create havoc at the name of low supply or production..  of sugar cane...its all new way to turn the market wave for the sake of investment  or so called recession..

Looks like Hoarding Is rampant by the supermarket chains. They want to cash in on the low sales with high profits.
Recent investigations reveal that the price of all these day to day items at Farmer level has not changed.

The support price for sugarcane (in the case of sugar) has not increased .The sugar cane is not being taken by the factories at good price blackmailing the farmers to sell off the perishable commodity at factory dictated price.

So we know where the problem lies .

Also I wonder why this sharad pawar always asks and gets this agriculture portfolio?
What good is he doing(or otherwise?)
Strange ,that during his tenure as agriculture minister every time the prices have gone up and farmers are commiting suicide(I mean going under loss).
What as agriculture minister is he good at -MAKING BCCI rich? and inturn akll the BCCI authorities?

I feel that this price rise is just created . there is no price hike on every day basics any where else in the world .
