Lucknow university bans Anna Hazare meeting!

yeah, it is the petty Indian politics that is on the rise since there is no place here for constructive criticism.

Thanks,Shrikant for referral.The ban is politically motivated.The power center in UP is sourced from the people at the fringe of the circle.The people at the helm of affairs will not allow or weaken the source.

Indian universities are not places to learn, develop intellect and question established norms as is done in developed nations, but places for party politics, sycophancy and giving exams at the end of term!!. Anna Hazare can meet students outside the university. 

Appointments to top posts in all Govt, Public sector and educational Institutions are all politically influenced. However Anna's movement does not need a meeting ground. It has already spread through the media, web, and word of mouth. There is no need to address University students separately. There should be a number of meetings in small groups in different auditoriums where Govt. interference will not be possible. 
In large scale gatherings the disruptive forces will be more active and will try to abort the proceedings. Addressing in closed rooms with a selective audience will be more interactive and the youth will be able to present some brilliant ideas.

Why should Anna Hazare meet the students of Lucknow University when he has a onerous task of drafting Jan Lokpal bill and getting it passed in the parliament as per his declaration that he would get the bill by August 15,2011.  If the VC of Lucknow University is not in a position to allow Anna ji to meet with his students, then, presumably it makes one to think that his very appointment as VC would have happened as per the choice of the political masters!
