Misuse of Sanatana Dharma/Hinduism

all the so called swamijis  r a case of- 'power corrupts'. where personalities becomes bigger than the philosophy or idealogy. (it happening everywhere) all those followings, all the money.it needs manifest in some manner.  they will & should get caught some day. 
best is to take the philosophy, seek opinions, reflect up on till u reach a satifactory conclusion. i guess that's the best way.

Dear readers, the main concern is we all understand the truth of Dharma and God, but there are poor, uneducated crowd who are taken for a grant in all most all dharmas but hinduism is ranking 1 as for as taking deprived mankind for granted?it is difficult to create awareness and it is true, but can we think of something to stop this inhuman attitude of our chor swamijis? or shall we call it a day?

Its a shame and a farce... I refuse to believe in this dharma and jati nonsense. I believe in one dharma - Human!! And to err is human ...

I completely agree with Priya Varadan. The Guru parampara as a system is a good one. There are lot of good teachings by lots of such Gurus and Swamijis. 

At the same time, it is understandable why Pruthviraja is reacting so anguishly. It is out of his respect for hinduism that he is getting frustrated by the happenings. There are many swamijis saying he is Go and he can only show the way todevotees; his devotees resemble the political followers of today, the swamijis establishing lavish ashrams, having political links, etc.

While the Guru Parampara and the Guru should be respected, it is upto the people to use the sensibility to take any non sense preaching. 

Every other day I get to hear the word sanathana dharma in too step. i hv tries to answer ur question. from what ihave read and understood (it a continuous exploration)
Sanathana dharma essentially means time tested principles, which will operate at any given time /era (yesterday, today, tomorrow), these are:

God is one- all are manifestation of the same god, the soul is the same in all, be it a human being, animal, or worm (I did not use the word creation, there is a difference)

 2, unity in diversity, At no point of time, wud this world will be a homogenous entity. 3 vasudeva kuttumbukam- world is one family, 
change is the only thing permanent and that poles of opposite will exist .. it up to u what u choose
As far as I hv understood this is what is sanathana dharma. This applies not only to hindus but to all, irrespective of who he is.

Coming to ur question why we worship human being??. Asaram bapu or xyz.. he is consider a guru, a spiritual guide by his devotee. A devotee worships a guru because of his knowledge. If the guru starts misusing his position or the devotee goes blind in devotion,  is the fault of sanathatha dharma/Hinduism.? A good guru or doctor is a vital find if u get it u r lucky..

WHY THE LIVING HUMAN BEINGS ONLY IN HINDUISM WANTS THEM TO BE WORSHIPED?No religion under the sun would advocate worshiping a living human being? Only thing we can do is to create awareness and the only way to save our poor people is to educate them?god should save his children?

Ujjval, i can understand your pain, it is not only Asaramji, even in south in Tamil Nadu Sri Sri of Kanchi mutt were also arrested after charging a case of Murder on him that too after he attaining old age? it can happen only in India?kyon ki "MERA BHAARATH MAHAAN" 

Hindus themselves need to understand what is right and what is wrong. This is the time that rather than going after some Babajis or Matajis, we should only follow Bhagwadgita and Bhagwatam, our two primary scriptures. We don't need anything else....

I do not wonder to know that a FIR is being lodge against Asaram bapu, it's the government that should be proactive & make people aware regarding such 'dukans' before it's too late to take action.
