"Month of April or Month of maximum attrition for companies". Are you deciding to slip out your resignation letter, please hold on because its not the right time. You would quit and join some other organization and after a year you would leave that company as well just for few more bucks which not make a much of difference.

Do you people know by doing this you people are screwing your own career? Companies will hire you but on the same level and when you guys would like to come out of this entry level pool it would be very difficult because there is no stability.

My suggestion to every one: Just don't hop your jobs, stick to one company and there would be rewards for you... You might get frustrated and wanted to change please bare that time and after that there would be rewards and recognition waiting for you. Your stability will get you everything Money, Position and Satisfaction.

Always remember - When you work with a company for 5yrs + the other company hiring you have to have something really good for you.

Yes, I would totally agree on to what Mr. Nipoon said. To add to it: please dont leave your job just because you have not got a promotion or your pay is not equal as your counterpart in other organisation, instead develop skills/competencies that would get you what you dream for, the company definetely recognizes that and reward too...

I partially agree with swati. As we all know in this recession, its hard to get a job rather proper job.If any finance people is doing operation job, then will it called proper job? Then also will you say the same?then he/she shouldnt leave this job?they should'nt be looking for another one which suits their profile best.Despite i will say nobody should resign at this circumstances, unless you get the better one.

This is not true for all the organizations. Many organization start taking the resource for granted and start exploiting them. I feel, that one should learn new things and make their understanding strong and then move ahead. Wasting 5 years in the same atmosphere make a person like small frog in the pond who doesn't know anything about the world outside. Be a fast learner and opportunity grabber. Person really looses the courage and motivation to look for change after staying in an organization for more than 3 years.

What a topic to debate on... I guess it is not Boss who change his/her behaviour infact it is subordinate who changes because in the end it is BOSS who has to rate you on your projects success and failure.
I agree with Kirti... If situation demands you to join a new company and your new employer is ready to hire you without a Service Certificate (releaving letter) I dont see any problem.. Ask your current employer if they give acceptance of resignation...
