Sex-for-marks scandal!!

In fact we all are double standard and have double mind and heart. We are there to speech on others but never follow the idle character. The person who came in the light is culprit and who is not he is a white colored .  If we want to change this we must start it from over selves. We should correct our selves and the moment we are idle I m sure the country will be idle. Sometimes women are using themselves as weapon and some times men use it. Illicit Physical relations are at its top level let it be office or homes.    

This should be taken as normal.Every need is chargeable so it is one type of cooperation for marks addition.Every power of control is used to get some benefits.Why we are so negative for sex relation.In general society there are so many scandals are running which are not proclaimed or opened in public notice.Sex is not bad but object should be solved.

It's Individual's Choice...

these anti-social elements should be hanged till death and no mercy should be given.

I think both should be blamed equally, one had offered something and the other has accepted. No one should comment it or admit it as a mistake... 

This news is neither shocking nor astonishing but it is rather an expected one. I find so many people talking about morals. Well, what these people need to understand is that morals are different for different people. But law is another matter. When one violates a law, one becomes a criminal & eligible for legal punishment. This is also such a case & the teachers, Vice-Chancellor as well as the 2 girl students who submitted are all criminals --- the first for exploitation, the second for support & the third for unfair methods to gain marks. But it becomes a totally different case if a girl decides to sex in return for money. This is not even a crime & both concerned in such a case are innocent. One needs to think about the law rather than blabber about morals.

Lust is an ongoing theme in human beings. No one is immune to it. Not even "saints". The difference between one human and the other is how this lust is channeled. Which is one of the reasons the system of marriage is still surviving, I suppose.   

Now, of course, marriage doesn't seem to satisfy all types of people. So many types seek a channel for their lust - outside of marriage. And here comes Darshana's statement about taking only when the other is ready to give.   

The use of coercion i.e. the use of force in any way - emotionally, psychologically, economically, physically, even "spiritually" - is absolutely disgusting. Most especially, in these days, when there are a lot of people who would happily and quite enthusiastically enjoy with SOMEONE THEY LIKE.   

In many cases, the problem is mostly of low self esteem. MOST PEOPLE ARE WONDERFUL - IF ONLY THEY LET THEMSELVES BE. Rather, they are so ready to think bad about themselves that they think: "The only way I can enjoy is if I can grab."   

Other people are so caught up in the pleasure of the satisfaction of lust (also for sex AND/OR for money) that they cannot see beyond a certain point in the immediate future. 

Now, no matter what the reason is - whether for man or for woman - when the craze of lust descends - during a betting spree, for example, a person's IQ (Intelligence Quotient) decreases significantly. Therefore, such people typically make mistakes and get caught because, temporarily, they become stupid. 

Once it becomes a habit and then a craving, it gets very hard to stop, thus increasing their chances of getting caught. A truly vicious cycle if ever there was one.

However, I'm sure these girls are intelligent and diligent. So, they should realize that they could succeed at anything they choose to do - IT NEED NOT BE MEDICINE. 

There are plenty of people who prove that we can generally trust other human beings. They have to concentrate on strengthening themselves to succeed on the basis of their own efforts.

The whole incident is shocking and deserves condemnation. However, now the question is who should be held responsible, teachers or students? Shame on these teachers, they should be held responsible for marks for sex scam, and should be put behind bar to rot for shaming the institute of teaching. Such teachers are like headless chickens. Teachers are guides and custodians of students; if these guides and custodians start abusing their student then they are not teachers but baggage and butchers on society.  
                              

The starting point of exploitation is when girls agree to do such things. Best practice is to report such things to police / media by girls and send the culprits to jail.

It is shame for the country. It is unfortunate but true. I am of the opinion that all such wrong doers should be sent to Middle east for one year and see some of them will return with chopped hands.

Not at all accepted in a Learned society. We need to put a "full stop" to these kind of practice. Let us make a civilized group.

Are we serious about morals.  It doesn't appears to be.

Neither "student" nor "teacher" with such greed are in true sense is sacrosanct.

One is answerable to his own deed.

this is really pathetic as if there is no differnece between animals and human beings.........but the truth preavails that those whose desires are more dominating they dont give it a second thought for them its just the body contact and nothing else. their ambitions are so overpowerig that they dontr categorise it in good or bad category...... hence the values have no moree roles to play in this professional system. It may be a big issue for those who r not indulged in it but those who are doing it are still not have regrets about it.

Kudos to the girl who did not succumb to the proposal and reported to police. Had the other two girls, who compromised, had reported to police , the racket would not have continued.
So long people will submit  to the things unfair , the exploitation will not end.

Cultural erosion is the major reason behind these heinous acts.  The more and more we talk about "live-in" relationship, "dating" before confining to a single partner, "proliferation of MMS" among student communities, "consensual sex to satisfy oneself and taking "U Turn" when caught", how can we expect our children to safely come out of the campus with "chastity"! To guard "Chastity" and to teach to the world what chastity is all about, Mata Sita confined herself in "Ashok Vatika" for years together, as depicted in Ramayana.  I think, its time we look back our own tradition, create new rules based on the principles enshrined in them, and allow very stringent punishment to those who go overboard,  then you see such issues would gradually come down!

The world today is simply bold, beautiful & horrific. Trading sex for favors has become business as usual, yet we try to be pretecnhuous about it. At times Sexual exploitation  do  are used as  weapons by weaker SEX to  exploit an unwary and so called male  Chauvinism..We can't be judgmental without baring the facts

The heading itself is scandalous.The students, girls or boys ,male teachers or female teachers,the student community who accepts it as a normal rut, the people who exploit it being in the chair of authority, are all the fabric of our societal character.All are to be blamed.on one side girls do have lesser defence being fairer sex also sometimes do exploit their weakness to their advantage.just by one incident at places and some incidences that happen secretly ,we cannot blame the whole community of girls to be so indulgent in such bad behavioral manner.
Men are equally to be blamed for using certain powers to exploit through systemic and other illegal means to achieve both ends.
Hence if you see the comments on such topic related to girls of female issues in too step, i had noticed that only few girls comment,many don't comment .this does not mean that most girls accept it as a normal feature.
hence it is better to keep such comments low and stricter action has to be taken on both who indulge in such things which sets up wrong precedent for future generation to come.

Yes!! Moral is a wealth of an individual and if he or she loses it she loses everything in life.y job alone the same society punishes those without morals.Hence lets leave those who do not have morals.lets us try and see that such acts do not go unnoticed nor unpunished  by the legal or judiciary system or by our own societal laws of land or our way of right life.

Thanks,Darshana for referral.The travesty of modern education is its marking system.The higher the percentage,better the future.It titillates the boys or the girls when they cut the sorry figure.The lot of expectation of them is at stake. Parent pressure or expectation,peer pressure.The future appears bleak the moment,it dawns on them that they are not going to score.This 'black hole' sucks them and they forget every thing "MORAL".This is first half  of the story.The second half is more grimmer.The exploiter, within the precinct is well aware of the made rashes and spread the tentacle.And the catch? What we are witnessing.

I am agree with Darshana. I heard from someone that a college in Jalandhar there Girls lives in hostels. There daily money consumpiton is so much that Pocket money sent by parents is not enough, So they make Sexual relation to fullfill there daily needs.

this has been reported earlier that needy students in hostels offering themselves for returns. but to offer them marks is betraying the system and rest of the students. this happens under the supervision of vice chanceller... if so nail him! and the professors who were behind this scam.

I OPPOSE In today's context I'd say that girls aren't innocent also. They are aware of this fact as a shortcut and less straining methodology to follow. They think that sleeping with the teacher can get an extra 15% in their aggregate and the more they dedicate on this the more they get. Also they are now aware of every possible measures to cheat their virginity so it is baseless to say that they are forced but rather I think that they are inviting teachers to have one night stand with them and when they feel that the teachers aren't giving the marks deliberately then they protest and come to revolt in a mass.  Please be sensible in your thinking as a person can approach a single girl and or two but not thirteen or fourteen as everybody has mind and that thinks responsibly.  Today we cannot claim that girls are totally pious and innocent in this hi-tech internet world where according to statistical figures are not too behind in pornography and other sexual activities over the internet and the age group is that of the students.  Forget about the students what happens in the corporate world? The same as the ladies are indulged in satisfying their bosses for better or extra pay and speedy promotion and other felicities to enjoy. However on the interview too they believe in provoking the sexual desires of male recruiters .................
Let us think who actually are the victims the horny girls or the innocent teachers .............
 So this is another way of looking at the things which often comes to be true...........

@Vimal: i agree with you. If girls are being forced it depends on them to not to get trapped. One is ready to give, the other can take.  It is also not good filling a complaint after all scandal happened.
It is 100% that the victim should be justiced and criminal should be punished with atmost punishment.

This is not acceptable at any circumstances. Althogh it may be possible that Girl Students being made to failed deliberatly, but in that case also girl students have other options also except this one. In my opinion MS.Darshana says correctly that " Only if someone is ready to give, the other can take.." Thats why Girls are more responsible than others in this case specially. we all know that teachers & Doctors are known as " another kind of god ". So, its a prime duty of them to maintaining the idea behind this. It is said very well as " guru govind dono khare, kako lagu pai?? balihari guru apno jin govind diyo bataye " . what i want to say about teachers is explained only in above two lines.....where teachers position are just upper than god............. Nothing rest to say anything....... 

those persons who force girls to do sex with the teacher to increase their numbers in exams then solution are so simple 

teacher ko uski job se nikaal do or siraf nikaalo nahi uska character par aisa daag laga do ki in all over the world usko kahi job nahi mil sake & never ever he can try any where for any kind of job & made him nude & migrate him on the road on all delhi roads in this winter 

I agree with Vimal. Older people in Lucknow would remember that the practice was prevailing even in the 1950's. A University professor and some Doctors were known to indulge in such practices but since those days law and order was not so bad, the press not so vigilant and active and the act was limited to those students who willingly gave their consent in return for the illegal gains the matter was publicized as it is today. Even today most of the cases are due to greed on one side and the recourse to an easier method to move ahead in student's carrier. With deterioration in moral values, materialistic approach to life, absence of good counseling for students and inability to foresee the future implications of indulging in immoral behaviour drive people to participate in such acts.  

This is disgusting. Sounds like the girls were being blackmailed and quite likely being made to fail deliberately, so that they would be mentally weak at the situation and therefore compromise.

I am not supporting this but i think girls are also equally responsible. Why they are agreeing on such heinous things or trade for marks? They are not the child or not like that they doesn't know the consequences. You cannot clap with one hand.

Whenever greed dominates, people forgets everything. Whether this is coming to get marks illegally by student or fulfilling lust desires by authorities by taking advantage of chair of institution. And it the greed's tendency that people keeps values aside and the outcome is current example.

Where there is a will there is a way.
Methodology changed but it is the oldest technique ever known.
Being an old technique doesnt make it right in any sense.
It works both ways whether some one believe or not.
An action is required against those using it as a tool & investigation with action on those who deliberately use it to gain the benefit.
