This is my first post...

At last Apple iPhone is in India !!!

So here we go - Bharti, Vodafone launch Apple iPhone in India

After a few days of playing around with the new iPhone 3G, here comes the launch of Apple iPhone in India. It’s a great computer , or rather, a great mobile internet device—probably the best ever made we have to wait and see but it’s a pity that it’s debuted in the country before 3G networks are up and running.

The 3G iPhone has plastic rear panel and metal external buttons the 2G version—which was widely available in Indian grey marketshad metal panel and plastic buttons.

The iPhone is priced at Rs 31,000 for 8 GB and Rs 36,100 for 16 GB of memory space. The phones are being given on first come first serve basis.

Few comments from the buyers:

" Rudra Khurana, 14, a student of Modern School, was one of the buyers of the iPhone 3G. He went for the expensive version at Rs 36,000. This is the coolest and best," said an excited Rudra, clutching his phone. The best thing is that new features are added to it, and it also has a 16 GB iPod," he said."

"Aditya Malik: I'm excited because I have got an Apple iPhone. I am not bothered about the price. Good things come at a price"

"Nishant Arya, 22, a businessman: I already have five iPhones. This is the sixth. I bought it because my family wanted it. The earlier phones were 2G, this is 3G."

It's too much costly compare to other branded phones like Blackberry, any touch screen mobile. You will get same features in very low cost. So, Why should we go for iPhone, just because of it's Apple's product.

Apple iphone is one of the sensational mobile phone of the decade.Oh..it's wrong to say it mobile phone actually it is a chalta firta laptop with all the facilities in it. I would love to take the one very soon. But surely not on this cost as it is out of my budget. I will wait for some time that let the price fall than I will have one. Till then I will have to wait like a person who is thirsty but the water is not within his reach. Anyways thanks to Bharti,Vodafone for launching the product in India.
