I have never understood people who shun and malign the concept of luxury.
If we think broadly and stop defining luxury in terms of expensive brands, luxury would mean a pleasure out of the ordinary allowed to oneself. The pleasure of experiencing beauty & excellence.
I strongly believe that the human mind craves the exceptional, the beautiful and the luxurious.
Yes, the recession has made everyone cautious and slow to open their wallets, but that's only natural.Just the way one would drink a little less water when there is a big stretch of desert visible , that needs to be crossed.
But does that mean you stop needing the water? Obviously , No.
You're just a little more more careful and a lot more appreciative of your resources.
Look at this article and read for yourself, how luxury brands are not only healthy but doing pretty well despite the recession.
