Ways to Conserve Energy

Murlidharan Sir, you are saying right but don't you think we are more focused on conservation. battery and the chargers of battery in every house and industry are the live example of conservation. Sir, I think there is only a thing that people never tried much and that is solar energy. The energy from sun that it gives to earth and many planet can be used to run the world. very few work had been done i think to it. also the energy that we used in our daily life in form of petrochemical they also get energy from sun. is it necessary to make our planet sun by making atomic reactor while thousands of atomic reactor are running in sun. it should be work out. but what will happen when a device will be available to store and produce light for thousand hours. Sir, many companies that are making big profit will be on floor...because we people always think about profit...

Nitin, your observations are paradoxical, yet meaningful.  Not every user is a scientist or an inventor.  New energy initiatives are on.  But this article is meant for those who use the available resources disregarding conservation principle.  Fossil fuels are depleting, therefore conservation of the available fuel drawn for mass usage should be mandated.  You know, nuclear fusion was tried in room temperature by Fleisch-mann and B. Also possibility of making Hydrogen gas by splitting water using aluminium-gallium alloys.  
Generating Sarami Gas using fly ash and water - pyrolysis process.   
Similarly, a number of alternate fuels are attempted by various scientific establishments in the world.  Till such time, their inventions / discoveries are brought to commercial use, why not we conserve what is available now!

Why all the people stuck on energy saving. are they forgot the rule of Albert Einstien that energy only change form never produced nor destroyed. Just we have to search the ways to convert them. Energy is here but methods are less. Find the method to change the energy in to various forms rather than energy saving.

energy conservation is very important factor in order to optimize energy. each unit we save, each unit is generated.

we should examine closely the functions where an alternative to the present fuel to be prescribed with an electric or low cost fuel drive than petrol in an light duty functions of the drive systems for example when the speed increases accompanied by an drop of the torque where the new fuel enters with its roll without distubing the existing speed by an tachometer speed evaluation, i recommend to use LPG. 

Use of Solar power can also save energy. Solar energy can be used for common area lighting as also street lighting.

Use of led lamps are cheaper on the longer run. Very effectively they can be used for common area lighting.

Use of occupancy sensors will be of tremendous help in reducing energy wastage.

Look for the Energy Star Label - your assurance that the product saves energy and prevents pollution. Buy the product that is sized to your typical needs - not the biggest one available. Front loading washing machines will usually cut hot water use by 60 to 70% compared to typical machines. 

Few simple steps to conserve energy:


Do not leave your Air Conditioner on while you are out or it is simply not needed. In fact it is estimated that your Air Conditioner wastes about $0.25 worth of energy in one hour.


Instead of Switches, use of dimmer is effective.  

A. Turn off the computer,  when not in use.

B. Use of fluorescent light bulbs not only brightens, but also last up to 10-12 times then a usual bulb while consuming a quarter of the power.


C. Proper insulation of airgaps is must while using AC or otherwise heat leaks into room thus making the compressor to take extra load and thus increasing power consumption.

2. there are many power savers for home/office which will improve the PF of the used supply. due to this end up using lesser power from department; which is benificial for both ie user and supplier.
