i2 Technologies India ltd Bangalore, India Product. Manager, SDM Sept2003-Till Date Assisted and helped in building the Demand Manager demo for Bed Bath and Beyond. It involved the as-is process analysis of demand forecasting and development of the to-be demand forecasting process. Designed statistical forecasts at various levels in product/geography hierarchy using tools like custom computations and other canned/in-built techniques in demand manager. The techniques include winter-holts method, variable response smoothing, Bayesian techniques etc. Wrote custom build models and rule based models in LUA to manage client specific objectives in demand forecasting. Released and certified Demand Manager product on windows2003 and HPUX11.23 for NEC Japan. This was a onsite project[2 million dollars] of 5 months in Tokyo, Japan and involved cross-functional co-ordination of resources from development, QA, Product management and NEC team. Implemented Demand Manager for various global customers. Conducted Functional training of Demand manager product for specific target audience. Involved in assisting consulting teams to solve various customer specific business problems in forecasting and supply chain management related areas Wrote test plans to test various functionalities of product to improve effectiveness and quality of the product.
