Strange Job Interview Behaviour Most managers and supervisors (and HR people) have had experiences interviewing candidates for job openings. I'm sure each of you has, at one time or another, been baffled by interviewee behaviour, but we're betting you haven't faced some of the behaviours that we list below. Certainly head-scratchers, and amusing (at least to read about). Strange but true. Based on a survey published via the Internet, here are some of the odd things reported by HR professionals. 1. '... said he was so well-qualified that if he didn't get the job, it would prove that the company's management was incompetent.' 2. '... stretched out on the floor to fill out the job application....

Love is letting go of fear. Fear not, and love is present. Fear is drawing you away from love. Fear stirs up emotional turbulence within a human being. There is nothing to fear but fear itself. Evil acts are created by our fears inside. All negative feelings that exist are nothing but fear. What you are not afraid of cannot harm or destroy you. When you give in to the ego, fear is present. When you give in to the Soul, love is present. When we release our fears, the Cosmic Laws are free to work through our higher vibration. You attract what you fear. This is a Cosmic Law. You cannot run away from your fear energy. It will go with you wherever you go, until you are ready to transform it into...

We all are equal, we all are born with the same Divine inheritance. What make us unique, special and irrepetable as spiritual entity are our free choices, our deeds and the way we make our dreams (ideals) come true. Noble genuine feelings, choices and deeds create noble people. Is not really a good person the one who makes good things sometimes, but a good person is that one who does not know to do evil things. No one else knows you better than you about your own background, your own living experiences, your own knowledge, fears, emotions, your own mind. When you have a trouble you can always ask for advices, just as a guidance, not more; but the right decision should be always yours and ta...

Reach Out For Your Dreams   Why are we afraid to chase our dreams... Why does one person find it difficult to set out and achieve that which they desire, while others can some how set out, without so much a care in the world. What makes some people achievers, while others remain simply dreamers. Is it the difference in their internal makeup? Is it in the way they were raised? The environment they grew up in? When one studies the lives of 'achievers' one thing becomes evident. What is it that tends to shine through in case after case? In my opinion the most evident factor is that there simply isn't a set pattern. These 'super achievers', if you will, come from all walks of life. These folks ...

One day all the employees reached office and saw a big notice on the door :----------- 'The person who had been hindering your growth passed away yesterday. You are requested to join the funeral prayers which have been organized in the gym'. At the start, all were sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who it was that hindered their growth. The excitement in the gym grew such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room. More the people reached the coffin, more the excitement heated up. Everyone thought: 'Who could this be? Who was hindering my progress?'. One by one the thrilled employees got closer to ...

The 7 C's of Happiness   What are the criticalingredients for experiencing genuine   happiness ?Here are   seven elements   of life that I believe are essentialto the attainment of human happiness. I call them the '7 C's in thepursuit of happiness.' One is not more important than any of the others. Compassion In order to evolve into astate of happiness, you must develop your in-born ability to care about life,to value life in all its forms, to engage in loving, kind actions, to cultivatean attitude of what Nobel laureate, Dr. Albert Schweitzer called 'reverencefor life,' (including your own). Contentment   Inner calm. Peaceof mind and heart does not mean acceptance of everything that happen...

The Wishing Well On top of a hill overlooking a babbling brook stood a dilapidated stone well. The wooden frame which had once been used to raise water was broken and a discarded bucket sat on the ground nearby. The only thing that made this old well special was a small tarnished plaque that carried a three word inscription which read 'The Wishing Well'. One morning a young man named Richard came upon the well and read the small plaque. Richard was a cynical young man and he scoffed at the idea of a wishing well. However, he was also very greedy so he closed his eyes and wished for a large pot of gold…just in case. He opened his eyes and looked around but nothing had changed. As he prepared...

The Man Who Willed Himself to Die There was a man who worked for the railroad. One day as he went into the freezer compartment to do his routine work, the door accidentally closed and he found himself trapped in the compartment. He shouted for help but no one heard him since it was past midnight. He tried to break down the door but he could not. As he lay in the freezer compartment, he began to feel colder, and colder. Then he began to feel weaker, and weaker, and he wrote on the wall of the compartment, 'I am feeling colder, and colder; and I am getting weaker, and weaker. I am dying, and this may be my last words'. In the morning when the other workers opened up the compartment they found...

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon and onto the floor. When he grasped the glass milk spilled on the tablecloth. The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. 'We must do something about oldfather', said the son. 'I've had enough of spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.' So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoye...

The Tao of Forgiveness One day, a sage gave his disciple an empty sack and a basket of potatoes. 'Think of all the people who have done or said something against you in the recent past, especially those you cannot forgive. For each of them, inscribe the name on a potato and put it in the sack.' The disciple came up quite a few names, and soon his sack was heavy with potatoes. 'Carry the sack with you wherever you go for a week,' said the sage. 'We'll talk after that.' At first, the disciple thought nothing of it. Carrying the sack was not particularly difficult. But after a while, it became more of a burden. It sometimes got in the way, and it seemed to require more effort to carry as time ...
