Manager - Manufacturing and COE Lead, Coca Cola (RGB line 1200 BPM, Juice Line 200BPM and PET Line 800BPM, Retail Water 200BPM) , Third party Co-pack manufacturing facility( handling of Bulk Jar Water line of 560BPM, Juice PET of 450BPM and 180BPM of Retail Water line) and Centre for Operational Excellence of Bangalore. Responsibilities: Responsible to meet EBIT targets at plant level. Fulfil customer demand with right Quality at right time. Ensure safe working environment and operations. Develop and implement Plans to achieve targeted productivity of machines and men, quality and yield with minimum wastage. Copack Management - Standard CIBA Agreements and monitoring their financial performance Copack Management - Copacks ability to ensure compliance with respect to Quality, Quantity, Systems and Cost Copack Management - Training and educating team at Copack unit on ensuring compliance to Sytems and processes. Operate and maintain production machinery with appropriate preventive maintenance systems in place like TPM. Integrated and aligned with Operational Excellence, the scope includes manufacturing processes, maintenance and engineering processes, quality processes, and EOSH processes. Lead local/regional COE assessments and responsible for safe guarding the action plan implementation for manufacturing opportunities Coordinate with Head Quarter Supply Chain SMEs and local functional leads on all aspects of the COE development process. Support COE development where end to end supply chain excellence will demonstrate the value and significant impact manufacturing and engineering has on the bottom line. Responsible to implement Operational Excellence within the organization Operate within the agreed Annual budgets for the facility and deliver substantial cost savings Provide leadership by focusing on long-term objectives, develop and strive to implement strategies and action plans. Implied Cost saving initiatives by inducting culture of Operational Excellence . Guide and motivate the managers in secondary management functions such as administration / Human resources, Stores and Logistics, material procurement. Liase with statutory authorities and tactfully handle Public relations, resolve legal issues as and when arise. Build and lead an efficient operations team of subcontractors and staff members. Coordinate, manage and supervise the work of subordinate and support staff. Provide support, direction and encourage training of a team. Trained and educated team to stabilize operations and achieve the quick wins Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Private Limited, Kerala Senior Production Executive, July, 2000 to May, 2003 Joined HCCBPL as a part of Graduate Engineer Trainee straight from REC, Warangal Campus. Underwent 6 months of cross functional training and stood as topper among the trainees, then was sent to Kerala to support the upcoming plant. Responsibilities: Initially was given rigorous focus on cross functional training happened cross geographical locations. Upon confirmation of GET program, sent as Senior Production Executive to Kerala Plant. Kerala plant was coming up, handled right from recruitment till stabilization of operations. Developed Maintenance Systems by observing principles of ExIM and TPM. Kerala being very active state in IR as well external environment, dealing with relevant stake holders and media Implementation of Energy Management initiatives. Worked on SAP Implementation Project for Bangalore. SME on SAP project. Major Achievements: Commissioned the project within targeted time and cost. Developed cross cultured workforce Successfully negated the effect of 9 unions on the plant operation Took a pivotal role in handling the plant during hostile external environment. Realized 8.2 MM of savings in one year thru Energy and Waste Recoveries. | ||
