A profit generating business with a social cause is called Social Entrepreneurship. The concept is simple and if applied it can be profitable to you as well as the needy. Examples : 1. There are 51 ambulances running in Maharashtra where if you call the ambulance rich have to pay for it and poor get the service for free. 2. A courier service run by deaf .. thus gives them employment a does profit as well. There can be many other similar things.. We just need to be thoughtful and decide how we want to help ourself along with the society. What is your take on it??

Microsoft chief Bill Gates and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi arrived in Amethi for a day-long visit aimed at giving the global philanthropist a glimpse of social development work in the two 'Gandhi constituencies' of Rae Bareli and Amethi. Gates and Rahul Gandhi, both dressed in white, flew in a chartered aircraft from New Delhi and landed at the Indira Gandhi Flying Academy in Fursatganj town in Rae Bareli. There was heavy security as the group interacted with about 300 women actively associated with the women's self help groups formed here with Gandhi's personal initiative. Gates here explained the importance of computer education and promised to try his best to develop Amethi a...
