कुछ ही वक़्त गुजरा होगा जब तुम मेरे साथ थी जिसे नहीं दे पाता था कोई नाम कोई शब्द ! उस धुरी की तरह जिसके इर्द-गिर्द मेरी ज़िन्दगी सा कुछ टंगा था! और मैं कोशिश करता उसे लाने की अपने पास.. कई बार...मगर हर बार असफल नाकाम! शायद तुमने भांप लिया था- तभी तो आई थी तुम एक दिन- लौटाने मेरी ज़िन्दगी सा वो कुछ ! जो बोझ सा था तुम पर ..तुम्हारे आस पास! हाँ मैं उससे लिखना कब चाहता था और तुमने भी मुझसे कब पूछी थी मेरी ख्वाहिश.... तुम्ही तो कहती थी ना ख्वाहिशें नरम होती है बिखर जाती है मखमली कालीन पर पड़ी हुई और कभी कभी ज़िन्दगी की रेत पैर फिसलती हुई सी ! अब तो अरसा हो गया है और ज़िन्दगी ने देख भी लिया है ख्वाहिशों का फलसफा कुछ तुम्हारे फलसफो से मिलता जुलता सा ! तुम बस एक बार आना और देखना की ख्वाहिशों से बनत...
