I involve during whole life cycle of projects/products including Requirement collection, Design, Development, Documentation, Internal Releases, Testing, Bug fixing, Market Releases and Client Support. During my stay in CAMO I implemented various processes like Release Management, Build Management, Bug Tracking System, Configuration Management, Automate Testing, Code review etc. 1. Product: The Unscrambler The Unscrambler is statistical software used to perform various Multivariate data analysis. The Unscrambler have various algorithms like Design of Experiment, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Principal Component Regression (PCR), Multiple Linear Regression (MLR), PLS (Partial List Square) Regression, NPLS (n-way PLS) Regression, Prediction, Classification and other algorithms. This software is very poplar in USA and European market with more than 2000 clients in more than 47 countries and Voted Top 5 Visualization Software. The product is around 18 years old. The Unscrambler is developed in VC++, MFC and COM. Algorithms are written in FORTRAN and MATLAB. Till now I involved in three releases of this product. The Unscrambler 8.0 (Some major Enhancements) The Unscrambler 8.0.5 (Bug fix Release) The Unscrambler 9.0 (n-way PLS and Other Enhancements). 2. Product: OLUP/OLUC OLUP stands for OnLine Unscrambler Predictor and OLUC stands for OnLine Unscrambler Classifier. Both of these products are used for online Prediction and Classification. OLUP and OLUC works with Spectrometers. When Spectrometer collects new samples OLUP/OLUC perform online prediction / classification. CAMO have contract with wide range of OEMs who uses OLUP as an inbuilt part of their instruments. This Product is developed in VC++ and MFC. Algorithms are written in FORTRAN. 3. Project: Mobile OLUP Client: ZEISS, Germany ZEISS is Germany based company manufactures various optical devices. ZEISS is CAMOs OEM and regular user of OLUP. Currently they are making Mobile Device that would be scan on crops to gather sample data of that crops which can be used to see the quality of crop. This device has Linux OS with Motorola Processor. ZEISS wants Embedded OLUP in this device to predict the quality of crops. Current OLUP works for Windows only and also heavy weighed. So it does not be embedded in this Mobile Device. We are in process of re-writing the OLUP with following feature. Completely written in ANSI C Platform independent. Light weighted The feasibility study, High level Architecture and Detailed design documentation is completed and currently this project under Development phase. 4. Product: Panelist Monitoring and Tracking The Panelist Monitoring and Tracking (PMT) is highly valued where sensory panels are used to describe the characteristics of the wines. It is critical to ensure that the data the panel provides is accurate and reproducible. Quality of the data must always be addressed. Three vital pieces of information are necessary to understand the performance of your panel and individual panelists: The degree to which panelists are in agreement with each other. The ability of each panelist to reproduce their results The sensitivity of each panelist for detecting sample differences. The PMT Module ensures consistent performance and quality within a selected group vital to producing standardized and targeted products. This is a web-based Multi-tire product developed in J2EE, C++ and Matlab. Backend is SQLServer 2000. Graphics are developed using WebChart3D. Software Used: Design Tool: Enterprise Architect, ERWin Development Tools: JSP, Servlet, Strut, JNI, VC++, Matlab, SQL Server 2000. 5. Product: Product Optimizer The CAMO Product Optimizer provides an automated bridge between the market research product and product development - unlike any other software available. I involve in activities like gathering the requirement from Client, Design the System, implementation of crucial part of Project like Analysis and Database Design and Managing the Team for this Project. I was in USA for 4 Months for Client Interaction and to execute the Project. This is a 3-tier system that includes Database Layer, Analysis Server and the Portal Layers.
